Mission Trip Departure to Villa Maria

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | April 22, 2025 12:47 PM

This picture shows the moment we left for our mission trip to Villa Maria. Pastor Salustiano is leading our group, and there are nine of us going with him. We’re all packed into a boat, excited and ready for what’s ahead. Everyone is smiling and enjoying the peaceful ride down the river. It’s a beautiful day, and we’re looking forward to connecting with the community, sharing God’s love, and serving however we can. It’s not just a trip—it’s a mission from the heart.

Mission Trip Departure to Villa Maria

Arrival at Villa Maria village

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | April 22, 2025 1:09 PM

Today, we arrived in the community of Villa Maria, where we are planning to carry out our upcoming mission trip. Upon arrival, we noticed that the area is currently affected by flooding due to the high level of the river. Many of the houses and buildings are surrounded by water, and access is limited in several parts of the village.

Despite the difficult conditions, the people in the community welcomed us warmly. We had the chance to walk through some of the main areas and begin planning the next steps for our mission. The situation is challenging, but we remain hopeful and committed to supporting the families here through both spiritual and practical help.

Food bags prep!

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | April 22, 2025 1:17 PM

Today, we prepared  food bags to every family in the community of Villa Maria. This action was necessary because the recent flooding has affected food availability and access. Many families are struggling to get basic items due to the high river levels and limited transportation.

We prepared and distributed food packages that include rice, pasta, canned goods, and other essential items. Each family received one package to help them during this difficult time.

Pastor Robinson's birthday

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | April 23, 2025 11:32 AM

Tonight we had a very special service. The Lord spoke to us and reminded us of the calling of his first disciples. The message touched many hearts. We also learned that Pastor Robinson is celebrating his birthday today. So today we prayed and blessed Pastor Robinson for this being a very special day.

Children's ministry

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | April 23, 2025 11:47 AM

We had a wonderful time with the kids during Sunday School. The children learned important Bible lessons in a fun and engaging way. They also sang songs with joy and energy, filling the room with laughter and joy.

During the activity, the kids had the chance to color different Bible-themed sheets, which helped them connect with the stories in a creative way. As a special treat, they received lots of candies, which made them even more excited and happy.

It was a fun and blessed time where the children not only enjoyed themselves but also grew in their understanding of God's love.

A time of revelation: Sharing God's word with adults

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | April 24, 2025 11:50 AM

During our mission trip, we had a special meeting with a group of adults. Pastor Salustiano shared a powerful message about the events of the end times based on the book of Revelation. The teaching was clear and meaningful, and everyone listened with interest. It was a beautiful time of learning and reflection, where many were encouraged to stay strong in their faith and trust in God's plan for the future. We thank God for this opportunity to share His Word.

Hands of help in Villa maria village

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | April 24, 2025 12:02 PM

We carried out a food distribution activity in response to the ongoing floods affecting the area. families have been severely impacted, losing access to basic resources and facing difficult living conditions.

As part of our outreach, we distributed food bags to several households in need. Each bag contained essential items such as rice, oil, canned goods, and hygiene products. The purpose of this activity was to bring not only physical support but also a message of hope and solidarity during this challenging time.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and show God’s love in action. The smiles and gratitude from the families remind us of the importance of standing together in times of crisis.
