Bayside Chapel Youth

Started our day off at The Sharing Center, sorting and unloading their truck of donations that came in today. We also spent the time learning about how The Sharing Center works and helps the community! 

After a great day of work and fellowship, we headed over to serve and hear a great message at Harvest Baptist church. We were able to connect with the community in the area and just love up on them and join them for dinner! It was a wonderful night filled with prayer and worship! 

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." Colossians 3:16

Day 2! Today we served at Christian Help! They offer spiritual encouragement, provide resources, and help people find work to prevent homelessness. This morning, we were able to work in their food pantry by sorting and passing out food to the community that comes by! 

Did you know that nearly 50% of central Floridians don't earn enough for basic necessities, and Christian Help has grocery stores like Publix, Walmart, BJ's, and farms that donate food for Christian Help to support that 50%. 

Today at Christian HELP, our team came together to sort food, pack boxes, and prepare meals for the community. Today was also truck day, and around 11:00 AM, the food bank turned into a beautiful chaos—pallets unloading and everyone moving quickly. There was so much food, and even more love, being poured into each box to bless families in need this afternoon!

Another task that we took on today was helping out our host church by making salvation bracelets for a mission trip to Africa soon. A couple of church members will be distributing these bracelets to the community they are serving. They are hoping to bring 500 salvation bracelets, and today, we are contributing to making those bracelets! Thank you, Community Methodist Church, for letting us be a part of your project!
