Orientation Meeting in Ensenada!

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | May 23, 2026 8:02 PM

Our team is in Ensenada! After a day of traveling, we finally made it to Ensenada. We had our orientation meeting, and now we're ready for dinner. We thank God for the opportunity He gave us of being here for a full week of ministry.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Prayer Walk

by David Mora Giles | May 24, 2026 3:46 PM

This morning, after our devo time and breakfast, we walked around the neighborhood. While we were walking, we prayed for the people that live here. We know that there are needs everywhere, and people in Ensenda are not the exception. They face battles of all kinds: physically, financially, and spiritually, but we trust that the Lord that started this great work here will keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish!

Bearers of Good News

by Miriam Serna | May 24, 2026 8:28 PM

"We are thrilled to be here, brought by God to proclaim His name. Pastor Manuel preached today, reminding us that preaching the gospel isn't just a commandment from Jesus - it's a privilege. We rejoice in being bearers of the gospel, fulfilling our responsibility as followers of Christ to point others to the way of salvation, which is Christ. We can't keep it to ourselves! Thank you, Jesus, for using us as ambassadors of your Good News."

Youth Service

by Miriam Serna | May 25, 2026 12:30 AM

We spent some time with the teenagers from the church. After having lunch together, we played some fun games.

We also had a time of worship in Spanish, and we really enjoyed singing together.

Martin shared a meaningful message about making decisions and choosing the right path.

The teens from the local church were very attentive to the message, and we hope it truly spoke to their hearts.

Worship Night

by Miriam Serna | May 25, 2026 12:31 AM

What a beautiful night of worship. Being surrounded by other believers and enjoying the presence of God, giving Him all the glory, and declaring that He alone is worthy of all praise.

We serve a powerful, beautiful, and loving God.

Pastor Manuel

by Miriam Serna | May 25, 2026 5:55 PM

This morning we prayed for Pastor Manuel.

Today is his examination for his ordination as a reverend.

We prayed that God would give him wisdom and continue opening opportunities for him to grow in the teaching of the Word.

Food Distribution

by Miriam Serna | May 25, 2026 5:57 PM

This morning we visited two families from the church. We listened to them, shared words of encouragement, Bible verses, and prayed for them.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to get to know these families and to be welcomed into their homes.

Even though they are going through sickness and difficult circumstances, they remain joyful and faithful.

Kids Ministry Day 1

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | May 25, 2026 11:01 PM

Today we had a great time doing a VBS! We had great kids who showed up and had fun with them. We sang together, learned from the bible, did a craft and played! We thank God for the opportunity to have time with them and show them God's love. Can't wait for tomorrow!

We had the opportunity to walk around the community, talk with some people, pray for them, and invite them to church.

Some of the children we visited also attended VBS.

Cleaning Project

by Miriam Serna Sánchez | May 26, 2026 1:31 AM

We're glad to be helping our host church with their cleaning project! We rolled up our sleeves, put on our gloves, and got to work using shovels, brooms, rakes, and wheelbarrows to clear out weeds and trash. We've made great progress, but there's still a bit more to do. It's looking good so far!

Sharing is Caring!

by David Mora Giles | May 26, 2026 2:22 AM

We’ve been loving our time with this community. The local church here in Ensenada has treated us with so much love. People here have shared their time, food and even opened the doors of their homes to come in and get to know each other! God is so good and we can’t wait to see what He has prepared for the next couple days.

Comenzando con el Pie Derecho

by David Mora Giles | May 27, 2026 12:37 AM

Just look at this wonderful team! In that moment they didn’t know today we were going to be walking a lot, dancing a lot, screaming and crying too. God officially let us get to the middle of our week.

Don’t Forget to Pray

by Miriam Serna Sánchez | May 27, 2026 12:38 AM

The home visits during the food distribution have been such a blessing. Getting to know the people and seeing how encouraged and comforted they are through prayer and companionship is a double blessing for us, but also a great responsibility.

Cristina told us, “Please, remember to keep praying for me.”

We do not want to forget what we have seen, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Kids Ministry Day 2

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | May 27, 2026 1:26 AM

We had so much fun with the kids who showed up for our second day of VBS! And we thank God for those new kids that were invited and came. We know that families can come to Christ through kids ministry, and we pray that everything they learned and experienced today can be a light in their home and community.

Unexpected Intervention

by David Mora Giles | May 27, 2026 2:26 AM

Today after ministry time we went to get churros, because like, they’re really good. Anyways, while we were there we found some people we met a couple days ago at the worship night, one of them, Annika (a full time missionary here in Baja) shared with us that she hasn’t been feeling good for quite a long time. We know our God is a God of miracles so we prayed for Her, trusting that He will keep on taking care of her.

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | May 27, 2026 7:41 PM

Today is our last day of ministry, and we are serving with Monte Sinaí at a different community. We are having a great time with the kids from Colonia 89! We pray God would continue to show up in their lives in wonderful ways and that they would shine the light of God to their families. ☀️

Mission “La 89”

by Miriam Serna Sánchez | May 28, 2026 12:20 AM

Today we visited the mission that Iglesia Monte Sinaí is serving in a community called “La 89.”

The pastors and leaders have been visiting this community for more than two years and have built strong relationships with the people in the neighborhood. We visited six families from the community.

We believe God is moving in this place. We saw how the children are holding on to this hope and praying for the salvation of their parents.

We pray that the seed being planted will grow in their hearts and root them deeper and deeper in Jesus.

Fun day

by Miriam Serna Sánchez | May 29, 2026 12:01 AM

We spent a day full of adventure and did the canopy zipline. It was a little scary flying so high, but it was also a lot of fun.

Beach

by Miriam Serna Sánchez | May 29, 2026 12:05 AM

We swam in the Pacific Ocean, got sun-kissed while lying on the beach, and dug in the sand to find the hot springs. It was perfect.

Chef’s kiss

by Miriam Serna | May 29, 2026 12:09 AM

We could not be happier to have these ladies feeding us this week. Everything was delicious, and we truly felt the love of a family.

We are so grateful for our wonderful cooks.

We are going to miss the quesadillas, empanadas, and tostadas.
