Harvest Christian Academy

This morning we had the honor of worshipping with our partner this week, HillTop Church.

After a great service, we went to Keifer’s for a delicious lunch!

We were able to attend the Civil Rights Museum to see the atrocities that the African American community suffered through.

We got to meet, and serve alongside Pastor Daniel and to just not hear, but see his heart and vision he has for his community.

Pastor Daniel took us to the warehouse that someone donated to the ministry that will be used to help distribute much needed food.

After hearing the vision, we got right to work clearing out the warehouse!

While one team was clearing out the warehouse, our team helped touch up the paint on the curbs and the entryway into the church parking lot.

We wasn't sure if we could do it, but when everyone works together we can! We was able to move this heavy machinery out of the way to make room inside the warehouse for the pallets of food that will be coming soon!

A generous person donated 3,000lbs of chicken to give away at our street outreach today! We worked together to get it unloaded and to distribute out to the people.

At our street outreach we all joined together for a time of prayer and sweet worship to Jesus!

We showed our excitement as we held signs encouraging people to come and not just get free food, but prayer as well!

Who can resist free food, and prayer. The line stayed long all morning long as people responded to the signs!

We gathered one last time before leaving to take a group photo with our new friends and family in the faith!

We grew together as a team as we gathered each evening to hear what each person was experiencing on our trip.
