We have arrived in Ensenada! It was a very busy day traveling, but we finally got to meet Pastor Saúl and his wife. We already feel the warm welcome as they prepared a delicious dinner for us and shared a little about their church story. We are all expectant of what God will be doing this week.

Today we had a prayer walk to begin the day. We used a megaphone to announce VBS to the community and shared some flyers. We prayed for everything we will be doing this week. Here we are God, use us!

Preparing for the Ministry Days

Today we also spent some time preparing and buying everything that we will be needing this week for the 3 main activities we are doing.
We went to Home Depot with Pastor Saul and part of our team to get materials for the construction project. Then we went to the market to get everything we needed for 10 food baskets for home visits. Then we also got snacks for VBS (and some snacks for the team too hehe).
We are very excited for what God is going to do through everything we are preparing. We pray for His blessing over us and over everyone we cross paths with.

Fun & Fellowship

We had such a fun time hanging out with the youth from the church! We got to know each other a little better, shared some testimonies, and played Prisoner’s Base. Everyone got really into it guys vs. girls and it turned into a super close and hilarious game. It was awesome to see everyone participate and just enjoy being together.

We had a very good first day of VBS. We had songs, games, crafts and a bible lesson. God is good because He has allowed us to be a light in this community. We pray kids will be impacted by God these days.

Food Distribution 🛒

It was such a blessing to be able to visit 10 homes today. We were able to get to know them better, encourage them and pray for them. God blesses us so we can be a blessing too.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

Morning Challenges with Pastor Saúl

Every morning before going into the church, Pastor Saúl gives us a little challenge. Today’s? Either sing a song or do some exercise! Let’s just say… some of us got our workout in early, and others gave their best concert performance. It’s a fun way to start the day with energy and a few laughs!

VBS Day 2: Like Kids Again

It’s the second day of VBS, and honestly, everyone, kids and adults, had fun like little kids. It was really special to see some parents and even grandparents come along to support the kids. They didn’t just watch, they listened to the Bible story, joined the activities, and even enjoyed doing the craft.
Today we remembered the sacrifice of Jesus, His death on the cross, His blood poured out for us, and the power of His resurrection

Packing Groceries, Sharing Hope

Going grocery shopping and packing the food boxes is just the first step before visiting families. We’re so thankful to God for the chance to be a blessing, and for the honor of being welcomed into people’s homes. Every visit is a window into someone’s story, and every story teaches us something new.
We don’t want to forget what we’ve seen and heard. God is so good.
It’s true, it really is better to give than to receive.

Almost There!

Today we kept working on the construction project. Our team is doing an excellent job. It's hard to believe that there was nothing here on Saturday.
May God bless these strong and intelligent men, because through this construction a lot families of the communities will be blessed.

Today we had the privilege to pray for Pastor Saúl and his wife. They shared about God's miracles and His faithfulness, so we thank God for bringing us here with the purpose to encourage, assist and build up the local church.

A Warm Goodbye

We wrapped up the day with a special service where we got to share some of the highlights from the week, moments where we saw God at work in our lives and in the lives of the people we met.
One of the most beautiful parts was seeing many of the families we visited show up to the service. Saying goodbye wasn’t easy, but our hearts are full, and we truly hope to see them again someday.

Dedicated!

We ended the day doing something that concluded one of the most important projects this week, guided by Pastor Saul and his wife we dedicated the building for the children’s classroom!
Trough prayers from church members, leaders, and people from our group, we anointed that room for God’s plans.
Sometimes being in the construction project doesnt feel as spiritual as the other activities, but that dedication reminded us of how spiritual it actually was, our group built something that will be used to bless families year after year after year.
Thank you God because you keep showing your mercy and your love everyday!

Exploring Ensenada

Today we got to explore some amazing spots in Ensenada, starting with La Bufadora. We stood a little too close to the splash zone and ended up getting a bit wet, but it just made it more fun. Then came the tacos… and wow, they were so good. Seriously, unforgettable.
After that, we headed to the beach, where we ran, swam, and discovered something totally unexpected, if you dig just a few inches into the sand near the shore, you can actually find hot springs! We couldn’t believe it—boiling water flowing right there on the beach.
We ended the day strolling through downtown Ensenada, hunting for unique souvenirs like belts, hats, buckles, and cowboy boots. An amazing day from start to finish.
