Switchback Youth

We made it safe and sound to El Salvador. We are ready for a great week. 

We had a warm welcome and a delicious dinner at the El Desagüe church. We're excited to see how God will use us this week.

We had kids ministry this morning. We shared with them about Palm Sunday and why this an opportunity to celebrate! 

We learned how to make tortillas. Thanks to Lety and Irma for being good teachers. Our lessons were for help them too. 

We went to the supermarket to get all the items for the Food Distribution Ministry. We will have the opportunity to visit 20 families this week, to bless them with a bag of groceries, and we will be honored to pray over their families. 

During the ministry with fishermen, we shared the gospel and our life testimonies. We met wonderful people and are grateful for being able to pray for them and bless them.

On Monday morning we went to a village close to the lake. We had the chance to take a boat ride. 

We had so much fun having a snowball fight with the kids from Azacualpa's school today. They're so adorable.

We had a lot of fun doing crafts and coloring a picture of the story of Zacchaeus.

We divided into two groups and visited homes yesterday afternoon for our first day of the Food Distribution Ministry. We made new friends and blessed them with a bag of food and prayed over their needs. 

Pastor Julio and other members of the congregation go three times a month to support the growth of a new church. We had the privilege of meeting the pastors of the new church and blessing and encouraging them to continue working for the Kingdom of God.

We had a wonderful time sharing with the women of the church. We shared cake and had fun making some wonderful crafts.

We had a great farewell service. It was a blessing to have shared this week with the local church and serve them just as much as they served us. We are joyful for the beautiful week of ministry that God gave us.
