Pineview Community Church

We have arrived! After two days of travel from Georgia we finally made it to our lodging church BridgeWay Christian Church. We are so excited to see what God has for us this week. 

We were able to join some members from BridgeWay Church for their Sunday school. This is where we studied from the book of Jude, led by Dennis, a two year member of the church.

Following the Sunday School we went to the sermon given by Pastor Ron. We learned all about the Rich Young Ruler and the Pharisees in Luke and Matthew. 

Real Options is an organization that gives free care to expecting mothers. Expecting moms can come here for a safe environment to learn all the options about their baby. They provide free ultrasound, shopping and diapers. 

NSKS is Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter, a place that provides different needs for the community. NSKS provides food, meal, shower, and laundry services. This creates a place that many can come to for comfort and safety. 

In the afternoon, we helped with some projects at Pastor Ron's house. We did some building of a chair and dresser along with weeding the front and back yard. 

After a full day of serving the community, we ended the night with some fellowship at Robin and Ron’s pool party! 

The New Hampshire Food Bank Production Garden is a volunteer based organization. All of the food that is harvested at this garden, is given to New Hampshire food bank to help those in need. 

Today we served at a garden that produces food for those in need. While we were there we hoed and picked out all the weeds from the beds. This made it so that the plants can get all the nutrients and water it will need. 

While at the garden we were able to talk to some of the volunteers that come weekly to help support the harvest. Without volunteers the garden wouldn’t be possible. 

BridgeWay church has been our lodging space for this past week. They recently expanded their location to allow more space for people to attend on a weekly basis.

This morning we worked around the church doing projects to help finish up the addition that was added to the building. This consisted of filling the holes in the baseboards, and cleaning and painting doors. After the projects we made some hygiene bags for an organization that helps the houseless.

This afternoon we served at a couples house from BridgeWay Church, Jim and Cheryl. Do to medical reasons Jim is not able to do as much around his yard. Today we helped him lay down mulch, cut branches, blow leaves and so much more. 

After working in the yard at Jim’s we had a cookout, full of food and fellowship.
