Trinity CRC - CREW

We have arrived safely in Eagan, a city on the outskirts of Minneapolis and we are at Eagan Hills Church along with Ignite Youth Group also from Rock Valley! 

This morning we are serving as the hospitality team as ushers and greeters for church! 

After enjoying pizza for lunch, we are doing training for Kids Camp and learning about how to introduce and teach the gospel to children. For Kids Camp, we will be serving at six backyard VBS programs this week. They will take place in home backyards so that nearby kids can attend more easily, rather than all children participants having to come to the church each day. 

Today we took a journey on the light rail from Minneapolis to Saint Paul and visited Choo Choo Bob’s in St. Paul Union Station and did some karaoke! 

This afternoon on our light rail journey, we had conversations with some people that we came across and prayed for them, and gave out some pizza and bags with water and snack bars.

This morning we are starting the first day of VBS/Kids Camp and we’re so excited! 

Blessing our host church, Eagan Hills Church, by pulling weeds and yard cleanup. 

Today we’re learning about commitment and Daniel and the lion’s den!

We had a great turn out for morning Kids Camp with the pink team leading the way! 

There was a great lesson about being Committed to God and we sang, danced, tickled and giggled. A few people got hit with water balloons and so much fun was had by all.

The Blue Team is packing onions and potatoes at the Open Door Food Pantry. They are serving this food bank that feeds so many in the community around Eagan Hills Church. We are so glad to serve here today! 

Celebration and worship of Jesus at our backyard Bible camp today!

This evening some of us got to serve at Feed My Starving Children where we get to package meals that include vitamins for malnourished children.

We got to compete against our team that went to feed my starving children earlier this week and see who could pack the most meals. 

We completed the "tracker" mural this morning. This is the store where kids exchange tracker tickets for prizes.

Blue team praying for Isaiah and Max after giving a Bible and devotional book! Also exchanged some numbers and they may attend Eagan Hills youth group tonight, G3! 

Today we got to go to ValleyFair, a amusement park in Minnesota for our recreation day and we had a blast!

We got to pray for Pastor Tom and Paula, Rachel and Micah on our last day, we’re so thankful for them!
