Orientation Meeting

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 1, 2025 7:39 PM

Today, after breakfast, we had our orientation meeting where we went through some basic information and encouraged our team. We were so happy to hear from pastor Cande and the church members that are serving alongside us. We pray that God would use us in any way He wants during our mission trip!

Prayer Walk

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 1, 2025 7:47 PM

After breakfast, the part of our team that stayed at Roca de Salvación, had time to walk around the community and we prayed over the families as we walked. We believe God wants to encounter them and make a difference in their lives.

Church Service

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 2, 2025 12:26 AM

The church service at Roca de Salvación was so good! We all felt that we were at our home in Ensenada. Our team played a song, and then we worshipped with the church's worship band. They even sang in both languages! After that, Jim shared a powerful message about having the BEST treasure that God wants to give us.

Service at El Buen Pastor Church

by Angel Espinoza | June 2, 2025 1:00 AM

We were also at El Buen Pastor Church, where we got a very warm welcome. The congregation made us feel as if we were a part of them! We were able to see Jesus' Church united as one, where we prayed for one another and worshiped together, singing for Jesus! What a blessing to experience the love of God through our brothers and sisters in Christ!

Clinic Day 1

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 2, 2025 11:30 PM

Today we had the clinic at Roca de Salvación for the first time! We welcomed people from the community with diverse discomforts, pains, and sicknesses. Dr. Wyant, Crystal, and Valerie helped a lot during this time by being the experts, and the rest of the team helped however was needed. As a team, we did a good job! We thank God for all the people who helped and even those who prayed over the patients.

Bible Study

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 2, 2025 11:34 PM

We also had a bible study with one of the moms who came to our VBS. She brought her kids to church, and we made sure to give her a gift (a bible, a notebook, and a pen). Then, we had a simple but powerful bible study with her. We love that God is so good and He teaches us every time we read His word.

Sandwiched Up

by David Mora | June 3, 2025 1:17 AM

So today, before we started our ministry, we made some sandwiches for the people at the hospital we were visiting! Everyone was part of the sandwich assembly line.

We Love because He First Loved Us

by David Mora | June 3, 2025 1:52 AM

Part of our team went to the hospital and got to share with the people there the sandwiches we made for them. As we were handing out something to eat and drink, pamphlets, and praying over those at the hospital we remembered that what we are doing, and the blessings we can bring to others, happens because God did all of that for us first.

Pato, Pato, Ganso

by David Mora | June 3, 2025 1:56 AM

We also started VBS today!!! We got to hang out with some of the kinds of the communities we are visiting. We started with games like “pato, pato, ganso” where you have to run against a friend to take their spot in a circle! We just love being able to spend time with our little brothers and sisters from Ensenada!

Food Basket Distribution

by David Mora | June 3, 2025 11:49 PM

Today we visited some members of our partnering churches and we brought food baskets for them. We got to know more of their lives and testimonies, and we prayed for them. We thank God for the incredible opportunity to share with others a little bit of the blessings we get from Him.

VBS at Roca de Salvación

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 4, 2025 12:01 AM

Today, we had over 30 kids at our VBS! God really showed up, and we were thankful to be here and be a light in this community. We had so many beautiful moments with these kids and with the church members. We are excited for tomorrow as it is our last ministry day, and we want to see them coming back!

Friends of Little Children

by David Mora | June 4, 2025 12:40 AM

Spending time with the children in this community fills our hearts with joy, energy, and laughter. In today’s VBS story, Jesus reminded us how important it is to be like them, no matter how old we get, let’s never lose our childlike heart, our wonder, and our simple, unshakable trust in God.

Medical Outreach at El Buen Pastor

by Angel Espinoza Coronel | June 4, 2025 11:40 PM

Today God used us to bless El Buen Pastor Church through our medical outreach. It was a very difficult, yet heartwarming experience, where we could share God’s love to the community around the Church. Many lives were changed and blessed, including ours, and all the credit goes to our Lord and savior, the greatest healer, Jesus. May the Lord keep on blessing this community through the Gospel and His people!

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 5, 2025 12:41 AM

Today, we installed insulation in the bathrooms at Pastor Cande's church (Roca de Salvación). Some of the boys from our team helped with this project, and it turned out just fine! Pastor Cande and some brothers from the church also helped, and we had a good time together :)

Kids Ministry

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 5, 2025 1:11 AM

We had our last day of VBS today! It was good to see that the kids from the community showed up, and God did too. We had so much fun, and we ended our time with a few words from pastor Cande, inviting them to church. God is good!

The Shepherd's Daughters

by David Mora | June 5, 2025 1:37 AM

A classic among the psalms is the 23rd, in this the Lord reminds us how, in the midst of any season in our lives, he remains as our faithful shepherd. During our time of ministry with women, we reflected on how this psalm is a whisper of peace and an eternal promise that God is with us all the time. To remember this, our sisters in Christ made bracelets with beads that symbolize every part of this beautiful verse of the scripture.

Heavenlike

by David Mora | June 5, 2025 1:52 AM

Spending time with our brothers and sisters in God's presence and just sharing love with one another is such an amazing thing! Honestly, it feels like a little glimpse of what heaven will be like when we are all together one day. BUT it won’t matter where are we coming from, how do we look, or what language do we speak, we will be all together having tons of fun with the Lord!

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

by David Mora | June 5, 2025 2:00 AM

Eldoans (people from El Dorado Springs….I guess) have successfully accomplished their third missions trip ministries in Mexico! They honestly did such a great job. To end the day, our leaders Valerie and Cindy went into a very intense arm wrestling match….can you guess who won? ANYWAYS, now we have a last full day of activities waiting for us!!!

Canopy Tour

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | June 5, 2025 4:41 PM

Today is our rec day! And we are having lots of fun, starting with the zipline. This week we've been so blessed and God gave us so many opportunities to serve, and we are grateful for the opportunity He gave us today to rest and enjoy the beautiful Ensenada.

Rec Day in Ensenada without La Bufadora is not a Real Rec Day

by David Mora | June 6, 2025 1:15 AM

Coming to see this natural phenomenon is just an experience you can’t get anywhere else in the world. There’s just something special about having to drive for 40 minutes to get to a place where you have to walk through a bunch of souvenir shops with people shouting at you to get you into their shop and then watching a ocean water blow into the air for a couple seconds….

A Cold Day at the Beach

by David Mora | June 6, 2025 1:29 AM

Sooooooo, we had planned a beach stop during rec day. We were not prepared for it to be SO COLDDDDD! Still God is super good and he provided hot springs (yes, naturally heated water at the beach) where we could warm ourselves up a little bit. There was literally no one else at the beach, and the team found one single hot spring, this is how they looked like, EVERYONE IN THAT LITTLE SPOT AT THE SAME TIME. It was fun.

Last Evening with the Local Church

by David Mora | June 6, 2025 1:36 AM

After we finished all our activities for the day, we came back to church to spend the night worshiping and sharing our experience during this week with some of our brothers and sisters from Ensenada. We end our trip feeling so blessed and encouraged by our time here, can’t wait for the team to come back and keep the impact going!
