Fellowship of Christian Optometrists (FCO)

We made it safe and sound to Costa Rica.

We can’t wait to start this week of ministry and see what the Lord has in store for us while we serve in San Fernando, Samara.

We want to introduce our staff for this week. From left to right, Maikel, Kathleen, Ishi, Fio, Katherine, Kari and Erik. We are so excited to serve alongside them!!!

Today the pastors shared with us their wonderful testimony and encouraged us to live trusting in God's plans, grace and faithfulness. Then we prayed to bless the family and their ministry.

We had a wonderful first day of clinics. We saw over 70 patients during the afternoon and we were able to deliver lots of glasses and sunglasses. Finally, we were able to pray for each person or family that showed up. 

We had the pleasure to serve around 100 people today, we helped them not only with glasses and answers to their eye healthy concerns. But also by giving them attention and praying to bless their lives.

We enjoyed our afternoon by playing and laughing on the soccer field with some kids and people of the community.

Everyone scored, we are all WINNERS!!!!

We had a wonderful time with our brothers and sisters of the church. It was a reminder of how glorious will be worship together in heaven. Even we all were singing in two different languages we felt the same God's presence. 

We are so grateful to continue helping people with their vision and seeing smiles on their faces. We served about 80 patients, who also received sunglasses and prayers for their needs.

Many kids came to the field and we had the amazing opportunity to play with them. Lots of running, fun and laughter.

We are so grateful to God for every person who came seeking better vision and we had the opportunity to helped them physically and spiritually.

At last count, there were about 500 people that attended, and we are pleased to say that all the Bibles we brought were given out because people really wanted them.

We had a wonderful time in the ocean. We enjoyed a dolphin tour.

We were able to swam near of the coast and made some splash bellies.

We shared our last time with the pastors and leaders of the church. We all were so thankful with God for this opportunity, we thanked to all the people made this possible. We could not made it alone.

The pastors and leaders prayed for us to have a safety travel and blessing our lives.
