ACS Families

We arrived LATE last night by the grace of God! We are so excited to be at Haysi Church of Christ. After a night of rest, we had breakfast and headed upstairs for service. Here, we heard from a local evangelist about the ministry he was doing at CCYC. We were encouraged by his passion to reach the people here in his community! Afterwards, we had the opportunity to participate in Communion.

After service, our team went to the Breaks Interstate Park. We had the chance to be surrounded by God's beautiful creation. It's so cool to see what the LORD has designed, and to be reminded that He is the same God who intricately designed us!

Feeding my sheep is a local food pantry that feeds over 500 people a month in the local community. Half of the group got to work in there garden this morning!

Today some of our group members are working on building a deck at the church! This deck will be utilized for community events.

The rest of our group got the opportunity to paint backdrops for the church’s VBS event!

We got to learn a lot of valuable skills while building the deck! 

This week, we have had the opportunity to explore new projects! In this, our team has been stretched by having the chance to step out of our comfort zone and try new things! 

At the end of our service day, we celebrated by pitching and batting! It was a great way to wrap up the week with fun fellowship one last time as a team.
