The Rock School

We arrived safely in Guatemala! We are so excited to see what the Lord has for us this week. We started our trip eating at Pollo Campero, an amazing chicken restaurant in Guatemala!

After a delicious breakfast, we headed to Vida Church to worship God with our fellow Guatemalan brothers and sisters. 

We went grocery shopping to buy supplies to assemble 15 bags that are going to bless some families in a community in Guatemala City. 

We worked together as a team to assemble the bags.

Before starting our VBS, we had the opportunity to take a tour in Down Guatemala's new facilities and learn about the services they offer to the population with down syndrome, and how they're working hard to integrate them in the Guatemalan society. 

We started the day with another day of VBS at Down Guatemala. Today, the students learned about when Jesus fed the 5000 with 5 loaves of bread and two fish. 

We also had a VBS at Believe Guatemala where we got to do some games, a story, and a craft which was making your own crown. 

Our day started with a zumba class at Tebow Down Guatemala. Our students were invited to the front to lead in a few songs with Tito, a morning show host in national TV.

It was the first time we did zumba for some of us, but we had a blast!

Serving at Tebow Down Guatemala has been a huge blessing and honor.

We know it's not a goodbye, but a see you soon.

Joel, Believe Guatemala's founder, gave us a tour to learn more about how Guatemala City's dump and its impact in the community where his ministry is making a difference through the kids with a sponsorship and after school program.

Our last day at Believe Guatemala was incredible. We had VBS and a ceremony to honor some of the local kids who are doing amazingly at school thanks to Believer's work.

We'll continue to pray for this ministry that's striving to make a difference in a marginalized area from Guatemala City.

Today was our free day in Guatemala and we headed to La Antigua Guatemala, a touristic city outside the capital, to do some shopping, drink delicious Guatemalan coffee, and enjoy the beauty of this wonderful place on our last day.

Tonight, we’re enjoying a delicious traditional Guatemalan grill at one of our favorite restaurants.

We've loved to bond with each other and encourage one another.

We're ready to go back home and share with our friends and family how God worked in us and through us this week.

Pray for safe travels, but also for our brothers and sisters in Christ from Tebow Down Guatemala and Believe Guatemala.
