Grace at Fort Clarke Church

Our team is in Valdosta, GA, supporting hurricane relief with local partner Lamp, a homeless shelter serving single men, women, and families from Macon, GA, to Orlando, FL. Lamp is providing essential resources and a safe place for those impacted, helping rebuild lives and strengthen the community.

We started our work today with Cherry Lake 4-H Camp, whose mission is to develop life skills in youth through experiential education in a camp environment. We’re grateful for the opportunity to use the blessings the Lord has given us to support our brothers and sisters in their ministry.

There is no better way to start your day with some Worship and an encouraging message from The Word of God!

Today, we continued to work at Lamp. We focused on helping the mothers by organizing the nursery and sorting clothes for the kids who come through the shelter. It was a blessing to create a welcoming space for these families.

Today, we had the privilege of helping a woman (who serves in the military) by cleaning up her yard, which was covered in fallen debris and large limbs. Getting to serve someone who serves our country made the work especially meaningful.

We were able to end the day by preparing Hot Dogs making a dinner out of it, to give away to the community!
