Here we go!

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | October 28, 2024 10:07 PM

We began our missionary work with a 3-hour trip up the Napo River in order to reach San Alejandro village despite the inclement weather.

Here we go!

Welcome to San Alejandro!

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | October 28, 2024 10:13 PM

San Alejandro is a community of 150 people approximately made up of 30 families. All the resident do  fishing and agriculture for a living. For many years there were Christian groups that for various reasons could not remain consolidated as a church. For this reason we have decided to visit this community.

After our arrival to San Alejandro we went door to door and invite every resident to our church service at night. Also we let them know all our program during the night and next day.

The fruit of God's Word!

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | October 28, 2024 10:24 PM

During our church service people responded to the message Pastor Odilo presented: "Don't postpone for tomorrow what you can do today" and came forward to rededicate their lives to Jesus. Beautiful and blessed night!

After church service We were able to present a movie to enetertain the people. They seemed to enjoy it very much. Our idea was to make feel like in the movie theater. we gave them popcorn to enjoy it even better.

More Smiles!

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | October 28, 2024 10:43 PM

The children of this community expressed their desire that we continue visiting them to share more of the Word of God with them. There is a great need for the Word of God.

Feeding the whole community!

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | October 28, 2024 10:48 PM

The main work during our visit was to go house to house and share a meal with each family member. The purpose is to build lasting relationships, encourage those who need a word and demonstrate the love of Jesus towards them.

Praying over each home

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | October 28, 2024 10:51 PM

After getting to know a little more about each home, we asked for their prayer requests. Listening to people is very important, it allows us to know the reality of each family.

At the right moment!

by Luis Carlos Armas Vascones | October 28, 2024 10:54 PM

Many households in the Peruvian jungle only eat twice a day. And in the worst cases, only once, but today the Lord wanted to bless them with one more plate of food. Glory to God!
