After a long travel day we have arrived and are ready to get the day started.

Today was a day of hard work and great progress for Day 1! We put in tremendous effort, pulling everything out of the youth room, sorting through supplies, and organizing materials to create a more functional and welcoming space. The teamwork and dedication made a huge impact and we’re so proud of what we accomplished.

We jumped right into demo mode, removing cabinets and prepping the walls for a fresh coat of paint. Our energy and determination kept the momentum going, and we moved through each task with efficiency and teamwork. We’re excited to see this space transform even more!

We started clearing out the shed and getting it prepped for demolition. We sorted through materials,

safely removed items, and worked together to load items for dumpster removal.  

We spent the morning clearing weeds, creating space for new growth, and reflection. 

Prepped and ready for a fresh coat of paint! We put in the work to paint the youth room and are excited to see the refreshed room. 

After a day of clearing the grounds, it was now time to load everything and take it to the designated trash area before spending the afternoon organizing all of the closets.

Today we started painting the youth room. The ministry is updating the room not only for the youth, but also to make the space ready to host future teams and guests. We are excited to be apart of the building process. 

Today, we continued making space in the shed. We organized the space to help the local teams find items and tools with ease. 

We had a chance to participate in a beach clean up this afternoon at Caspersen Beach. We were dedicated to help keep the shores beautiful and make a real impact. 

After all of the hard work completed this week, we took a much needed break and day of rest before it’s time to head back home. Today we had an opportunity to spend the day exploring the city and local community. We started off with seeing the beautiful sunrise before shopping, visiting the arboretum, and heading to the beautiful beach.

The past week has been productive and very busy. We enjoyed partnering with the ministry to serve the local community. The church community is thankful for all of the hard work.
