We are the Light

by Glendy Cho | June 15, 2025 5:26 PM

What a night! After a restful sleep, we're fully refreshed and eager to begin Day 1 of ministry in San Lazaro. We'll kick things off by nourishing our spirits with the Word of God during a powerful devotional, expertly led by one of our dedicated PPM leaders. From there, we'll divide into smaller groups to engage in different ministry activities. We're excited to see what God will do!

Sunday School

by Britney Rosalez | June 15, 2025 10:21 PM

Today was so amazing!

Despite the rain, our Sunday school was a success.

We started with some hype choreographies and then we had the team dramatizing the story of David and Goliath with so much joy. The children were so attentive and were so participative in the question section.

After that we had some playing time and we had more children joining us.

We are all eager for the first VBS day!

First Day of Construction

by Denmar Russell | June 15, 2025 11:41 PM

Meanwhile Sunday school was in full swing the other part of the group split into two work groups one at our host Church in San Lazaro, and the other assisting Pastor Felipe   Orange Walk. We spread dirt for Pastor's foundation and dug holes for his fence. We also picked up groceries to bless families in the community. We're so thankful for this great opportunity! Today was neatly done and done with love. To God be the glory for those hard-working hands ??.

Community Outreach

by Glendy Cho | June 15, 2025 11:57 PM

With our work complete, we enjoyed a delicious lunch together . Our next step was to go into the community and personally invite people to our upcoming events. This outreach was truly impactful, as we had the privilege of praying with several very welcoming individuals. We're excited to see the positive impact of these invitations and are incredibly grateful for the chance to connect with the community in such a meaningful way.

Sunday Church Service

by Joana Herrera | June 16, 2025 12:11 AM

"For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere." It was such a  privilege to end the night worshipping our Lord. We were able to hear impactful testimonies from our team members, testimonies that speak about how great, loving and merciful our God is.

After a restful night, we felt recharged. We shared a delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by a sister from our host church, following our devotional. Then, we formed three groups to begin our ministry work.

School Visit

by Glendy Cho | June 16, 2025 3:27 PM

Our school ministry recently had an incredible opportunity to connect with the students of San Lazaro Methodist School. We engaged them with uplifting songs and brought the story of David and Goliath to life through a dramatic presentation in their classrooms. We had a truly wonderful time sharing moments and playing games with the children.

Work Project in Orange Walk

by Glendy Cho | June 16, 2025 3:33 PM

Great news from the work site! Our team was out with Pastor Felipe, making significant strides on the construction. We successfully completed some essential digging and finished spreading the dirt, laying the groundwork for the foundation. It's inspiring to see how we come together as one body, dedicated to moving this project forward.

VBS - Day 1

by Britney Rosalez | June 16, 2025 10:21 PM

Our first day of Vacation Bible School was totally amazing.

We kicked off with some hype presentations and then went into different activities such as bible lessons, arts and games.

Today we learned of Noah and the Arc, and the promise God has given the world.

Spending time with the children of this community blesses us so much!

Construction Project 2

by Denmar Russell | June 16, 2025 11:38 PM

Today we culminated the digging for the  foundation of the building project, was a nice sunny and windy day where this group of men worked hard to accomplish today's task. Work was done as a team, vit was smooth and a fun environment to work in. What an amazing experience it was working together as brethren in Christ for the kingdom of God in the beautiful community of San Lázaro.

by Joana Herrera | June 17, 2025 12:10 AM

Praying over the groceries that will be provided to the different households throughout this week is such a blessing to us and to the people that will be receiving it. We are eager to see and hear all the testimonies.

Volleyball Match

by Glendy Cho | June 17, 2025 12:12 AM

What a fantastic way to end a day packed with different ministries! We went straight to the community park for an awesome friendly game against some of the village youth and our host church members. Belize absolutely dominated and won the game! Afterward, we went back to our lodging for a truly powerful debriefing about our day. We're incredibly grateful for every single thing we're doing for God and His people!

Youth Night

by Glendy Cho | June 17, 2025 11:35 PM

What an incredible youth night to cap off our day of ministry! We thought the rain might keep us away, but the Holy Spirit had other plans. His presence was so powerful that some of our youth and local attendees were moved to tears during worship. It was truly a great time in His presence and in fellowship with one another.

Food Ministry

by Britney Rosalez | June 18, 2025 11:30 PM

Our last day of food distribution ministry was a complete success! We blessed 20 families and it was so special to see the joy and gratitude with which they received the bag. We leave this place challenged to trust the Lord at all times and grateful to Him for allowing us to be part of those answered prayers for the people in this community.

Today the team was in full active mode as only a couple of hours were left for them to complete and finalize some details in the last day of the mission trip. They did a swift, awesome and admirable job in putting everything in place for the flooring phase. Thank God for their lives and good weather. To God be the glory in everything we do under the name of Jesus.

Farewell

by Glendy Cho | June 19, 2025 1:12 AM

A Heartfelt Farewell and Shared Blessings

We recently held our farewell service, a truly special time of worship where we deeply felt the presence of God. Our host  pastor shared encouraging words, reminding us through Daniel 3 that God is with us, just as He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Our youth also shared their wonderful experiences here. It has been a true privilege to serve the village of San Lazaro, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. We feel incredibly blessed by the community.
