We pray that God would strengthen our spirits and minds because, even though we are far from home and out of our comfort zone, we know He has everything under control!

Prayer Walk

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 24, 2025 12:18 AM

Today we went on a prayer walk around the community where we are serving this week. We also had some time to invite kids from the community to our VBS at El Buen Pastor. People received our invitations and we expect great things from God this week!

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 24, 2025 12:26 AM

At church, pastor Omar invited the people who had recently celebrated their birthday. So we sent Martín from our team and the whole church sang Las Mañanitas to them! It was a very fun moment.

Hospital Ministry

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 24, 2025 11:51 PM

We had a great time at the hospital, sharing sandwiches, water & juice. While we were sharing food with those in need, we also had part of our team worshipping on the side. It was so good! We thank God for the opportunities He gave us today to share the good news with people in Ensenada.

VBS DAY ONEEEEEEEE

by David Mora | March 25, 2025 12:09 AM

Lots of music, lots of moving, lots of laughing! That’s how I would describe the time we spent today at VBS. Seeing our students share Bible stories, make crafts and play with the kids is such an encouraging thing!

Time with Pastor

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 25, 2025 12:21 AM

Today we got to have time with Pastor Omar Perez Ochoa and hear his testimony about how he became a Pastor and the history of the church he's pastoring. We got to know how Pastor Omar's mother used to pastor the church where Pastor Omar is pastoring today, and how Pastor Omar's father pastored Mt Sinai where we are lodging today. How everything comes in a full circle. We know God keeps his promises for us. Amen!

An Unexpected Touristy Trip

by David Mora | March 25, 2025 12:30 AM

After finishing our first day of ministry we headed to Ensenada's waterfront. We had a cool time getting to know this part of the city and trying esquites (street corn) and fresh fruit…..then we went and got coffee from Starbucks.

Such a blessing to get to have this time together in fellowship!

Hospital Ministry

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 26, 2025 12:45 AM

After making sandwiches, we headed to a different hospital from the one we visited yesterday. We gave away more sandwiches and waters than yesterday! It was such a good time with some of the church members from El Buen Pastor and with our team. We got to pray for people and share about God. The food is always an excuse to do what we love!

Bible Study

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 26, 2025 12:57 AM

One of the things we got to do was go to three homes where they host bible studies. Our team split into three, and we got to visit all three houses, and we participated in it. From worshipping to sharing testimonies, we spent a great time there!

VBS Day 2

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 26, 2025 1:01 AM

We enjoyed having VBS today! We saw kids coming back, so that means they are liking it too. We thank God for this opportunity to serve in this area and reach people from the community in this way.

There’s power through prayer!

by David Mora | March 26, 2025 11:24 PM

…And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up… James 5:15

We are so thankful we get to talk to the people from Ensenada outside of the hospital, give them something to eat and drink and to pray over them!

There’s power through prayer!

Last Day of Ministry

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 27, 2025 1:10 AM

Today, we did our best to serve in our last day of ministry. We had a wonderful time with kids ministry. Mikayla did an excellent job sharing the bible story & David interpreted it very well too! We thank God for the opportunities He gave us today to serve Him creatively. God is good!

One last visit

by David Mora | March 27, 2025 1:18 AM

All three days of ministry visiting the hospital God definitely stretched us! It’s not easy to go talk to strangers, especially those who are in pain. But our Lord is so good and loving that blessed us with an unbelievable time there. After our last visit today, we pray that God keeps on making miracles in this place, and we take with us many many faces and situations to continue asking God for help and encouragement in their lives.

THANK GOD FOR CHURROS

La Bufadora!

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 28, 2025 12:38 AM

Today, we went to La Bufadora, aka the blowhole. It was so fun seeing this natural geyser and walking around buying souvenirs. We thank God for an amazing week and we pray He will continue to lead us in whatever we do.

Our last dinner in Ensenada

by Adriana Leal Espinoza | March 28, 2025 12:48 AM

We are so glad that we got to have incredible food during our stay in Ensenada. The cooks did an amazing job, and we made sure to tell them and thank them for all the hard work they did and the love they had for us. We are going home with some extra weight!

A toast for mission trips and quesatacos!

by David Mora | March 28, 2025 12:58 AM

Today we got our lunch at taqueria El Regreso, which literally translates to “the way back”, and that’s funny because our time in Ensenada is almost over (that’s low-key super sad, but we’re hoping this team comes back next year)! The quesatacos were fire though!

A toast for mission trips and quesatacos!

Playita

by David Mora | March 28, 2025 1:10 AM

The third part of our rec day was the beach. We went to these hot springs but the day was super windy, and then, if you’ve been to the Pacific Ocean you know how cold the water is! So it was such a funny experience to run from very HOT water to FREEZING water…. God’s creation is mind blowing!
