After an early flight, we are safe and sound in Guatemala ready to serve with Pastor Sergio in Chimaltenango!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at pollo campero and now we are ready to drive to Chimaltenango.

This morning, we went to the local grocery store to buy groceries and cleaning supplies for the 20 families we'll be visiting this week.

After packing, we prayed for the families we'll be visiting, asking God to multiply the food and reveal His love and faithfulness through our gifts.

This afternoon, we visited Francisca, who graciously welcomed us into her home. She shared that she lost her husband two years ago. We prayed for her, asking God to fill her heart with joy.

We enjoyed a wonderful time of worship at the church, joining with the congregation.

Today was the day our team had been waiting for – sharing VBS with the kids! With the children gathered in a circle, our team took center stage, performing their prepared songs through signing and dancing.

This week's schedule includes visiting families within the community, where we'll have the opportunity to connect with them in their homes and pray for them. We are grateful to be an extension of the local church's ministry to their community in this way. 

On 2nd day of food distribution we had the chance of visiting sister Herlinda's home. The team prayed over her for health and for both her son and daughter. Right after the team finished praying, she asked if she could now pray over the team and the sucess of all of their activities! 

Last night we got to share with the church a night of prayer and worship, were we sang and united as brothers and sister in Christ. 

Sister Marta is an elderly lady and a widow, the team met her earlier in the week and heard her story. The team worked really hard to be able to change the roof before rainy season began.

Before our final service, the team got to walk the streets of el Llano one more time to share a small gift and the love of God with all the neighbors of the community.
