First Methodist Forney Youth Group

This morning we had our orientation meeting at Wesley Chapel to prepare us for the week. We can’t wait to see how the Lord works this week!

We started camp off with a devotion and a song before a busy day of fun! Half the group went to the ranch, and the other half stayed at Wesley Chapel for some fun activities!

We’ve got the 1st and 2nd grade boys working at the garden this morning. They’ve got a competition going to see who can pull the most weeds!

We had so much fun taking the camp kids to the Tulsa Space and Air Museum!

We had an amazing day taking the camp kids from Wesley Chapel to the ranch today! They had so much fun learning about animals and gardening. In the afternoon we split up, half the camp took a field trip to the splash park and the other half to the space museum. 

We’re teaching the kids about the fruits of the spirit this morning. There’s no better way to teach kids than to put it into a song and dance! 

One rotation at camp today focused on healthy habits and eating. Some of our girls were teaching the kids what to put into a healthy smoothie, the kids loved it!!

Pastor Beach from Wesley Chapel joined us at dinner tonight to review the week and encourage the team to be missionaries when we return home. What a week it has been, Lord thank you for surprising us and teaching us how to grow! Help us to take what we learned back home and help us to share your love.
