McLaurin Heights Baptist Church

This morning the team enjoyed a wonderful service with Fellowship of Believers in Christ Church! The congregants made us feel so welcome and it was such a joy to worship alongside them all this morning! 

Yesterday Campbell McHenry volunteered to close the service in prayer and stepped out in boldness to lead the church! This is such a testament to the boldness of this entire team and we are so excited to see how the Lord uses their other “yes’s” this week!

This morning we served with MIFA’s Meals on Wheels program. God moved in some sweet ways and we are so excited to share more!!

Today the team broke up into several groups to serve the community by delivering meals. The Lord is working through these students and they have been so evidently obedient to Him!!

Each group was also able to pray for some of the individuals that we met! The boldness of their faith is so contagious!!

After a long, fulfilling, and joyous day serving at MIFA Meals on Wheels & Memphis Athletic Ministries, the team ended the day with a deep dive into Psalm 63 led by Tyler. They spent time dissecting truths found in the verses, applying them to their lives, and discovering more of God’s character through the Scripture. The students’ desire to know God deeper is truly so beautiful.

Good morning from Mid-South Food Bank!! We are very eager and ready to serve. 

After learning more about Mid-South Food Bank and their mission to feed the need, we are sorting through canned goods to be packed and distributed to their community partners!!

Tonight we will be serving at Calvary Rescue Mission by making dinner for the staff and men here. Chief gave us a tour and explained the powerful story behind Calvary. To summarize it in a few words, God can do a lot with your obedience!!!
