Preparing for Ministry

by Katrina Hulme | July 13, 2025 1:32 AM

After shopping this afternoon for all the food and cleaning supplies that we will donate to families this week, we packed the supplied into bags. We will visit 40 families this week and are excited to see where the Lord leads us. We prayed of each bag and ask that God uses us to impact the lives of those who will receive these bags!

More than a Meal!

by Brenda Vásquez | July 13, 2025 4:28 PM

We started this morning with little feet running to our church for breakfast. The local church prepared for them but what we give them is more than food. It's love, dignity, and a glimpse of Jesus' heart.

"Let the little children come to me..." - Matthew 19:14

Let your light shine

by Brenda Vásquez | July 18, 2025 12:33 AM

We had so much fun making crafts with the kids all about being the light of the world. We pray these moments help them shine bright for Jesus wherever they go.

“You are the light of the world…” – Matthew 5:14

Hands-on hospitality

by Brenda Vásquez | July 18, 2025 12:42 AM

On our last day of ministry we learned how to make tortillas a beautiful (and delicious!) part of Guatemalan culture. It was more than just cooking… it was sharing stories, laughter, and heart. Grateful for the warmth of this place and its people.

Faith that strengthens.

by Brenda Vásquez | July 18, 2025 12:48 AM

We visited a sweet sister from the church, hoping to encourage her but we left encouraged ourselves. Her faith, even in the midst of challenges, reminded us of God’s unshakable goodness. What a gift to witness such trust in Him.

What a beautiful day!

by Brenda Vásquez | July 18, 2025 3:00 PM

We spent our last day hiking Volcán Pacaya enjoying God’s creation and a well deserved day of rest. As we reflect on this week, we carry one truth with us:

“You are the light of the world.” – Matthew 5:14

May we go and shine brightly, wherever He leads.

What a beautiful day!

To God be the glory.

by Brenda Vásquez | July 18, 2025 3:05 PM

After a week full of blessings in Guatemala, we’re on our way home grateful, changed, and in awe of what God has done. We saw His power in every smile, every prayer, every moment. This isn’t goodbye, just the beginning of what He’s doing.

To God be the glory.
