This morning we had our first team meeting of the week. We went over the pelican guide and talked about what it means to be a good representation of Christ.

Winding down our excellent first day. 

We had a great time connecting with each other. Our expert young ladies had a blast loving on our team. 

This morning we worked at our host partner Northwest Community Friends church where we broke off into two teams this team helped clear out some piles of the twigs and branches.

This afternoon we served at Duffy which is an organization that serves the local school district. Students and family can come in and pick out various items they are in need of. We organized and sorted a closed full of donated shoes, sorted and packaged new underwear and socks and sorted toiletries items.

We loved on a local  family and delivered furniture so a little one could have a wonderful place to sleep.

This morning part of the group stayed behind at Northwest Community Friends church to finish up some projects. First we finished clearing out the rest of the dead branches and bushes. After a break we finished up in the garden where we covered the remaining of the irrigation pipes and evened out the paths. 

This Morning we went to Tucson Village farm where we got the opportunity to learn more about farming and use some of that knowledge. In the orchard we layed down compost and multch, added fertilizer and layed down bricks around the trees.
