Alto Impacto Youth

Ha sido un largo viaje de más de 420 kilometros pero finalmente hemos llegado la iglesia Menonita de Carbon que será nuestro lugar de descanso por la noche de hoy.

It's been a long travel day of over 420 kilometers but we have made it to the Menonite Church of Carbon. This will be our home for tonight.

Hoy fuimos de compras, esta semana queremos bendecir a 30 familias de las comunidades de Alto Jabui y alrededores. Damos gracias a Dios por darnos esta oportunidad.

Today we went grocery shopping. This week we want to bless 30 families from Alto Jabui and the nearby communities. We thank God for this opportunity.

Esta semana se trata de mucho más que ir a repartir diarios, queremos ser un recordatorio de que Dios nos ama y nunca olvida nuestras necesidades materiales ni espirituales, oramos por cada una de las familias que visitaremos.

This week is not just about delivering food bags. We want to be a reminder that God loves us and that He never forgets about our physical and spiritual needs. We prayed for each of the families that we'll visit this week.

Today we started food distribution ministry. We were able to pray over families. And had a special moment hearing the testimony of God answering our prayers a year ago. It was a God moment and we knew it was God showing us he always listens. 

Hoy comenzamos el ministerio de distribución de alimentos, pudimos orar por las familias. También tuvimos un momento especial escuchando el testimonio de Dios respondiendo a nuestras oraciones de hace un año. Fue un momento de Dios y sabíamos que era Dios mostrándonos que Él siempre escucha. 

Hoy tuvimos nuestra primera tarde de ministerio de niños, aprendimos sobre Dios, comimos y jugamos juntos. Siempre es maravilloso compartir el amor de Dios con ellos.

Today was our first afternoon with the kids. We learned about God, ate and played together. It's always wonderful to share the love of God with them.

Hoy Marielos compartió sobre la sanidad del corazón, tuvimos la oportunidad de reunirnos para adorar y fuimos ministradas por el Espiritu Santo.

Marielos shared about healing our hearts. We had the chance to gather to worship and be ministered by the Holy Spirit.

Hoy visitamos algunos de los lideres de la iglesia local, conversamos sobre los retos que enfrentan y nos unimos en oración pidiendole al Señor que nos guie y nos dirija para seguirle sirviendo.

Today we visited the local leaders of the church. We talked about their challenges and we prayed together that the Lord continues to guide us and direct us to serve Him.

Hoy Brianna nos enseñó sobre la creación y sobre lo maravilloso y poderoso que es Dios. Damos gracias a Dios por todas las cosas hermosas que Él creó.

Today Brianna taught us about the creation and about how wonderful and powerful God is. We thank God for all the beautiful things He created.

Tuesday night we had a church service, Pastor Dimas preached and he talked about how we have been blessed to be a blessing, sharing from Matthew 25. 

It was a blessed time as a church. 

El martes por la noche tuvimos culto, el pastor Dimas predicó de cómo hemos sido bendecidos para ser una bendición, compartiendo desde Mateo 25.

Fue un tiempo muy bonito como iglesia.

Queremos compatir las buenas nuevas nuevas del Señor con nuestros vecinos así que junto con un grupo de la iglesia local de Alto Jabui nos trasladamos a Volcancito.

We want to share the good news of the Lord with our neighbors so along with a group from the local church ofAlto Jabuy we travel to Volcancito

La Pastora Yesenia compartió la Palabra en Volcancito y nos recordó que para poder llevar frutos del Espiritu debemos cada día  buscar y prevalecer en nuestra de relación con Dios.

Pastora Yesenia shared the Word in Volcancito, she reminded us that in order to be able to bear the fruits of the Spirit, every day we need to seek and prevail in our relationship with God.

Trajimos juegos, historias de la Biblia y comida para compartir con nuestros amigos de Volcancito. Amamos compartir momentos tan alegres con ellos.

We brought games, Bible stories and food to share with our friends in Volcancito. We love being able to share such happy moments with them.

Llegó el momento más triste del viaje, es hora de viajar de regreso a casa, no sin antes hacer planes para el futuro como una sola iglesia y orar los unos por los otros. Nos vemos pronto hermanos.

The saddest time of our trip. It's time to travel back home but not before we plan together for the future as one church and praying for each other. See you soon brothers and sisters.
