After a long day of travel, we finally arrived in Panama. We drove for a few hours and safely arrived to our lodging place, we cannot wait to meet our partner church here in Cocle and get to share with so many new friends.

This afternoon Pastor Jose Luis took us on a tour! We were able to learn more about the history of this area when the Spanish people came to America! We saw and learned a lot about many interesting pieces of that time.

We went to the store to get all the items for the Food Distribution Ministry. It is a blessing for us to be able to go to 35 homes this week to not only visit them but to get to know the families, bless them with a bag and pray over their needs. We know this is a great reminder of God’s love, grace and faithfulness.

We went out to deliver groceries into the community. We had the opportunity to get to know those families, present a bags of groceries and to pray for them!

We had a blast with the kids this afternoon. We learned four ways in which the Lord had showed up himself through fire as in the story of Moses where the Lord showed up in a bush on fire.

Today, we celebrate Jesus! We were able to lead two people to Jesus! This beautiful lady took that step of faith and asked Jesus to be her savior.

We also had the opportunity to learn about Simon. He was a fisherman according to the Bible, and one day Jesus called him to fish for men after a great miracle! He immediately follow him! The Lord also asks us to share the gospel with other people as well, to fish for men.

We spent some time sharing with the ladies the importance to understand where to find our identity. The society will tag us with many things but we learn from the Bible that we find our identity in Jesus.

We had a wonderful time with the youth from the community. We played soccer together and we also had an opportunity to share the Gospel with them. Chad shared about the Lord’s Plan for us as in Jeremiah 29:11. His plans are better than ours. Pastor Jason shared with them the Salvation Plan.

Today we celebrated that these three ladies gave their lives to Jesus. We visited them during the Food Distribution ministry and as we were ministering to them, they stepped out and made the decision to ask Jesus to come to their lives.

We were able to support Pastor Jose Luis this morning as he was delivering clothes for the moms and kids. We set the tables and received the happy moms that select all the clothing for them and their kids

In our final day at VBS, we learned about how Jesus cleans our sins when we invite him into our hearts. Jarod made an experiment that amazed the kids.

This evening we had our celebration service. We worshipped and praised the Lord together. We also thanked the church for their love and hospitality and Pastor prayed for us.
