Movement Church

We are enjoying some delicious pinchos at piñones for lunch today. We are also enjoying the view of the beach and the nice breeze it has to offer. This is usually the lunch teams will have when they arrive early. We are so excited to continue seeing what God has in store for us this week. 

Tonight we are joining the congregation of Iglesia Bautista de Medianía Alta in their Bible study. It’s amazing being able to scrutinize the word of God in Jeremiah 11 and 12 with our brothers and sisters in Christ. 

Today for our first stop we are at the hotel Aqua. We are seeing how a hotel lodging might look and the benefits it may offer. 

This evening we are getting to know Pastor Samuel. It’s a blessing being able to get to know his story and all the ministries he does. 

Pastor David’s church serves as a distribution center for Rehace. Today we are having the opportunity to pray over this ministry and prepare some cleaning kits for families that might need them after a storm. This is a great example of how we can come alongside our pastors and assist them in their ongoing ministries. 

After an amazing few days of learning how a mission trip can look here, we are enjoying some down time at the beach of Luquillo. We are also taking some time to try out different typical Puertorican fried food here at the beach. This is one of the many options to choose from to enjoy some recreational time on the island.
