First Baptist Church Jackson

We are grateful to God for the opportunity to be able to partner once again with our fellow friends and brothers in Christ. Benque Nazarene Church received us with a warm welcome. Praise Jesus, we made it safely and are looking forward to a blessed week. 

Today, a team of 8 students along with the head dentists were up to the task of providing dental care service to the community of Benque. The dental service began at 9 am and there was already a line of patients ready before that time. This made the team more eager and excited to serve and make an impact on a need of the community. Before starting the day's task the team helping in the dental service united in a powerful prayer asking God for assistance and for Him to oversee and guide them in every step of the way. The patients were greeted warmly and shown that serene love of Christ and they not only received dental service but a brief yet memorable passage of the gospel. The team's work and God's hand was surely noticeable and together they were able to serve 42 patients today. Both the team and the community were very grateful for this effort. To God be the glory and the team is eager for what is to come and what all God has in store through dental service. 

And Jesus said: "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 

Thankful to God for a great day. We continued with our dental clinic. Furthermore, in the afternoon we had a fantastic time playing with the kids doing crafts and singing some songs .

We had a fun day with Pastor Cano blessing 5 families in Benqué with some groceries and the gospel. We shared the love of Jesus, met new friends and prayed for them

"Sharing food with another human being is an intimate act that should not be indulged in lightly " ~M.Fisher. God was working in an amazing way this week and it was amazing seeing the way in which He blessed those families. 

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart...."Colossians 3:23.

Today was the last day of VBS, it was a fun and exciting wrapup of the week's event with dancing and praising the Lord, bible teaching, arts and getting to interact with the children over some snacks and fairwells.
