After a long travel day of flying and driving, we finally made it to our home for the week! As we enjoy a delicious pasta dinner, Joseph is telling us about his organization that we will be working with this week, Puerto Rico Somos Gente. We are excited to see what the Lord will do in us and through us!

This morning we are joining Iglesia Misión Vida in their Sunday service! Ashleigh shared a testimony, and Bailey shared a song! We are blessed to be among this congregation with our brothers and sister in Christ.

Today we are hard at work painting at Puerto Rico Somos Gente! Some of us are painting one of the classrooms downstairs, and some of us are painting upstairs.

As we work together, we are reminded of the Body of Christ, and how every part has their own specific function to complete the Lord's mission.

Today we were able to finish painting not only one but two rooms at Puerto Rico Somos Gente! We made sure to get every nook and cranny to make it look as good as possible.

This morning we are starting to paint a third room at Puerto Rico Somos Gente. In the future, Joseph will be using all of these rooms as different parts of a community center.

At the church, we are pressure washing the outer fence to prepare it for painting tomorrow. Since the congregation is made up of mostly elderly people, they are very grateful for the help with physical labor.

Tonight we are joining Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal in their evening prayer service! We could feel the presence of God in the room as we sang and listen to Pastor José's message!

By lunchtime we expect to be finished pressure washing the church fence and part of the property. It's looking almost brand new!

After wrapping up our painting job this morning, we were able to organize a storage room full of donations! Putting these metal racks in order will help Joseph be able to receive more donations in the future.

This morning we are distributing grocery bags to people in the community. Judith came by the school to tell us good morning, and she is so grateful for everything that we and Joseph are doing.

God gave us the perfect weather for this grocery ministry today! His creation is so beautiful!

This morning we were able to meet the mayor of Añasco and his wife! They gave us each a small gift and talked about how grateful they are for the work we are doing here in Puerto Rico.

As we fly home today, we are remembering all of the people we met this week in Puerto Rico and how much we were blessed while blessing others. We thank God for this experience and hope to be back again soon!
