Barrington Christian Academy

Today we attended the 10:30 service at Cornerstone Church. We had the opportunity to experience the worship music and style of preaching from this community! Cornerstone Full Gospel church is located in Duncan Falls, Ohio, and is led by Steve Harrop. 

Today we also took a trip to the famous Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl.

Christ’s Table is unique to the area as they serve not just the unhoused population throughout the region but also to anyone who needs or wants a meal and fellowship. Donations on site contribute to the daily operations. It takes more than 17 volunteers every day to make it work. If they were paid a minimum wage it would cost over $200,000.00 per year.

Our team had an opportunity to prep meals for the community members who couldn’t make it in and counter service for those who could. Table Fellowship with the visiting folks was a once in a lifetime experience to walk out what it means to be a Christ follower. 

We had the privilege of serving breakfast at TruLight Ministries today, a ministry committed to bringing the light of Christ to individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction. We shared a meal and heartfelt conversations, spreading the Gospel to many facing poverty.

Proud and tired. 

Taking “cleaning out the frig” to a whole new level! Great job Joy. 

The team moved an entire library to a newly renovated room across the hall to make room for a nursery! Book shelves and all!

Today we got to hike to the famous Old man’s Cave. It is the quintessential hike for those looking to enjoy Ohios beauty.
