Wilkesboro SDA Church

We are here waiting for our friends of Wilkesboro SDA Church. We can't wait to meet them and work together alongside Pastor Elvis and see all the wonderful things that God will do this week. Follow along side of us as we serve the Lord and keep us in your prayers.

We arrived safely in Puerto Rico! We're now at our lodging having dinner and getting ready for this week of ministry. Can't wait to see what God's going to do.

Today is Sabbath and we wanted to visit a seventh day Adventist Church since we will be partnering with a different church on Sunday. We are visiting pastor Pablo Maisonet's church today. They are celebrating Mother's Day and we are excited to worship with them and hopefully be the start of a new partnership that can bloom for the future.

During the service, the church had a special activity to honor all the mothers on this blessed Sabbath day.

Pastor Pablo Maisonet brought a word for mothers this blessed Mother's Day eve, reminding them of the qualities christian mothers have using Mary, Jesus' mother, as an example. We're thankful to Rio Piedras SDA Church for receiving us this Sabbath and celebrating mothers with them. 

After the beautiful service today, we had lunch and are now enjoying the beautiful scenery of the rainforest. 

Today we are worshiping at Iglesia Cristiana Cristo Redentor alongside pastor Elvis.

We're celebrating Mother's Day today!. We want to honor the mothers at our host church with the gifts we prepared last night. We hope they like them and see just how much they are appreciated.

Today is our first day of ministry and we are hard at working prepping the floor and areas to be prime and painted. 

We are back at Pastor Elvis' Church working hard and plastering the walls. Some of us are painting and others are shifting sand.

We are moving along and now we are plastering the inside rooms of the church.

We are done for the week. We are one part of a bigger story and we are so happy to have helped Pastor Elvis continue his work in building the church. 

We are worshiping the Lord tonight and giving testimonies of how God has been moving this week. 

Today is our travel day but before we travel, we are working alongside pastor Elvis to feed the homeless and people in need. We are giving them sandwiches, coffee and juice to nourish their bodies, but most importantly prayer, which is good for the soul.
