St Andrew Presbyterian Youth Group

We made it here on Saturday! We are so excited for this week and being able to serve in this community!

Sunday morning we had the chance to go to a cook out with Ballard. It was such a great opportunity to really be able to connect with the community! 

Some of the locals suggested we go to Ballerds farmers market! It was such a fun way to explore town and to meet new people!

Yesterday we explored Pikes Place! It was so cool to try so many new things and see so many new places. We also loved the gum wall:)

We ended our full day with a walk and some amazing ice cream! It’s been such a great day. We can’t wait for tomorrow!!

This morning we partnered with New Horizons and were able to cook breakfast for some members of the community. After breakfast we had the opportunity to talk to some of the residents at New Horizons and get to hear their stories! 

Yesterday we cooked lunch at New Horizons. Afterwards we had the chance to mingle with some new friends and even had the opportunity to play some games and make some crafts with them! 

We are at new horizons again! It’s so fun to be able to come back and continue building community and have some great conversations! 

We partnered with We <3 Seattle and got the chance to hear more about their story and clean up the community alongside them! 

We are at New Horizons again!! It’s been so cool to learn new cooking skills and continue to build relationships with some of the residents here! 

This was our last meal serving at New Horizons:( we loved every minute of being here and the relationships that were built! It’s been such a blessing to serve here!!
