Bayside Chapel Youth

We arrived safely and had supper together! Pastor Logan and his family stopped by to say hello to us and after orientation, we are all settled in for the night!  

We are ready for an amazing Sunday morning. After our breakfast and devo, Pastor Logan gave us a history of the church so we snapped one more photo in front, in our Sunday best!

We are ready to hear the message this morning. Some of us are teaching the children in the Sunday School class too! 

We practiced some tools this afternoon that we hope to use throughout the week as we meet people in the community. 

Tonight we helped set up and put on a volunteer appreciation night event for the church. We baked cupcakes, set up the dinner and played with the children while the volunteers got spoiled. 

We are having the best time kayaking on the river! 

We had such an awesome time at the WNDR Museum in downtown Boston today and saw so many amazing artistic and creative things. 

Pastor Logan is giving us instructions this morning on our projects today and we are getting started engaging the community and helping around the church. 

This morning some of us went around the community and engaged with locals doing surveys for the church. Pastor Logan shared with us that regularly engaging with the community in this way has grown the church in recent years! We are happy to continue this work and hope to grow it further!

We worked hard today. We baked 480 chocolate chip cookies, put together 96 boxes, wrote 96 cards filled with scripture and love and packaged it all together! 

We had an awesome time sharing our cookies and speaking with the local business owners and people. 

We had extra boxes of cookies so we walked through the town after supper and delivered them to more local businesses! 

We are organizing the kitchen at the BCNE today. They serve over 380 churches in New England and we were happy to help them! 

We chopped down a tree and helped with some landscaping at the BCNE! We also taught Shawn how to Griddy and once he started, he couldn't stop! 

We gave parents a night out and hosted some of the children of the church for a pizza dinner, crafts and games. We made bracelets and taught them about Jesus too. 

We had an amazing week! We are now home safe and sound! Thank you Marlborough for a wonderful week serving Jesus!
