Pantego Christian Academy

We all made it safely to Tulsa! We already were able to go through orientation and eat a meal together!

Sunday night we walked to the top of a hill overlooking the city at sunset. We all broke up into groups and prayed over the city and for a fruitful week. 

This morning team 5 is serving at Peter’s Elementary School’s field day. The teams facilitated events with tug of war, none square, and kickball. 

This morning at Hope Center church we were able to paint the kitchen, clean and organize parts of the building while jamming out to some music! 

This morning team 3 is serving Mobile Missions Network by painting stair cases and power washing the walls to prep for a new coat of paint! 

Today our team helped serve with Wesley Chapel in organizing their food pantry and some of their children’s rooms. We also got started on pulling some weeds in their garden out back.

Team #4 started at Wesley chapel this morning where we organized their food pantry, and helped clean up some of the rooms including the kitchen, to prepare for their 10 week summer dream camp. 

This evening the team assisted Wesley Chapel Pizza Factory with cleaning fresh picked lettuce from the garden. The teams washed, dried, and packaged the lettuce into bundles to be distributed to the local neighborhoods near the church. 

In the afternoon we went to Hope center church and helped them do some painting in their kitchen. We also helped organize and set up their youth and children’s ministry rooms. 

Today Team five is serving alongside team 1 to assemble food boxes for the unhoused and marginalized communities in Tulsa. They are serving with great enthusiasm and hard work ethic this morning. 

Today our team joined up with group 5 and worked alongside the team at Bridging Hunger to make meal kits to give out to people experiencing homelessness and to those in need.

This morning our team went to youth works ranch and cleaned out the pools and did some gardening! We’ve all have been enjoying the nice weather here while serving in this community!

This morning we’re serving at Metropolitan Baptist church organizing some of their closets, and also got to worship with Pastor Mert. 

Team #4!

This morning we served Lighthouse Church by helping them paint a bookshelf, vacuum some of their rooms and put the chairs in their sanctuary back in order. We also made some burgers, packed some hygiene bags and distributed those to the local neighborhood.

This afternoon our group served alongside our partner ministry Mobile Missions Network. We helped them paint a church and prep new walls to be painted. 

We got the wonderful opportunity to pray over one of our partner pastors last night. They are such a blessing and we are so grateful to have the opportunity to support and serve them! 

This morning team 5 is serving alongside team 2 at Metropolitan Baptist Church. They started the day off singing “Awesome God” by Kirk Franklin and “Goodness of God” by Bethel with the Worship Pastor Merton Huff. The students are serving this church today through organizing and assembling shelves. 

Today team 2 partnered with team 5 and went to the Metropolitan Baptist Church! While we were here we had the chance to show off some of our musical skills by singing and playing instruments. We also organized the rooms-even built some shelves! 

This morning we are serving Wesley Chapel by helping take care of their garden, organize some of their spaces and helping clean one of their kitchens in preparing for the summer children’s camps. 

This morning we did a prayer walk with mobile mission network where we walked the neighborhood and prayed over the people of the community. 

This morning our group went to the Oklahoma food bank and helped fill boxes of food to give out to the local community. We were able to prepare over 11,000 pounds of food!

This afternoon we were at MMN. We cleaned up some sticks around the church and made it look nice and neat! We also had the chance to paint the outside building along with some doors and railings! 

Today we served with Pastor Josh at his work where they work with people in disaster relief. 

This afternoon team 5 served at the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma! The team collectively filled boxes weighing 3,641 pounds!! They worked hard and served well.
