Trinity Lutheran Church - Sterling, CO

We arrived safe and sound and traveled to our lodging church for a delicious pizza dinner. After pizza, we celebrated Caleb's birthday with chocolate cake and ice cream! The night ended with worshipping together, sharing stories and praying! We look forward to an amazing Sunday together tomorrow! 

We are ready for Sunday service at the Montague waterfront on this hot and beautiful day!

Pastor Tyler and Ed welcomed us and prayed over us before service! We are excited to see what God will do this week!

We really enjoyed the BBQ this afternoon hosted by our new friends Jackie and Waylon. They showed us true hospitality and love, in Jesus' name. We got to spend time with Pastor Paul, Anne and Pastor Tyler who are all partnered with us during our time in PEI!

We all prayed over Waylon and Jackie's home and thanked them for being such amazing hosts. Afterwards we split into our kids camps teams and spent most of the afternoon preparing for the three day VBS style camp we will be participating in over this week! 

This morning we are running a kids camp in two separate locations. We are excited to share Jesus with the children!

This afternoon we visited three seniors homes! Each one was a different experience but they were all amazing!

After we sang some songs of worship and shared testimonies, we ended our night playing Canadian Trivia! The winning team got a bag of Canadian treats!

Today we are back at our two locations serving at the Kids Camp and teaching about Jonah! 

This afternoon we helped a lady in the community with her weeding and gardens. She made us drinks to enjoy after our work was done! 

We are having a heat wave and some of our plans to work outdoors got changed. So we headed to the nearby splash pad to connect with local children and share about missions with them! We had a blast!

Tonight we put on an event for the community with another team serving here in the same town. We all sang, shared testimonies and the message of the Gospel! It was a blessing to be a part of five churches from 2 different countries linking arms together for Jesus!

Today is our last day with the kids at both our kids camp locations. We are outside for our water balloon activity!

This afternoon we are getting to see more of PEI! We started our rec day with a stop at Tim Hortons for some drinks, then went to Peakes Quay on the water for some shopping and of course had to have the famous Cows Ice Cream! 

We had a tour of the Anne of Green Gables Heritage House and then went to Avonlea Village supper. Some of us tried oysters for the first time too! 

After supper we went to Brackley Beach and swam till the sun set! What an amazing way to end our last day. 

We are all decked out in our Prince Edward Island clothing and headed onto the plane! Thank you for an amazing week! Until next time!!
