Arrived in Costa Rica!

We made it safely! On the way to the church, we stopped to see a beautiful waterfall called "La Paz."
We are ready to serve alongside Pastor Donald in Las Palmitas, and looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us this week!

Orientation Meeting!

After a long day of travel, we made it safe and sound to the church. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and a delicious dinner!
We also had the orientation meeting where our PPM Staff shared guidelines to keep us safe and healthy during this week!

This morning, Chad shared the sermon with the church.
He taught us that Jesus Christ is the true God, fully God and fully man, unified in one person and the provider of eternal life,fellowship and joy!

Groceries Shopping

After a time of fellowship with members of the church, we went to buy the groceries we need for food distruibition and we had a great time!

Packing Groceries

We headed to the church to pack all the food in to the bags, it was quite a risky task but we did it and we had so much fun!

40 families

This week God will use us as His instruments to bless 40 families in the community of Las Palmitas.
We prayed over the bags not just for their physical needs but also their spiritual ones!

Sports Time

We spent part of the afternoon playing some sports with the local youth. We played soccer and volleyball, we had a lot of fun today!

VBS: Day 1

This morning we went to Las Palmitas School and we split in 4 stations: Lesson, Craft, Games, Songs and Snacks.
In the lesson Jessica taught about two builders. One was wise because he built his house on the rock and the other one was reckless because he built his house on the sand. In the same way we are wise when we build our lives on the Word of God!

Craft Time

In our Craft Station we made crosses, bracelets and a school bus with a Bible verse. The children loved them!

When we went out and met more families in the community, we could see that God is always there, loving, listening and answering every prayer!

Construction Project

During the day part of the team was working at the church. They removed the old kitchen roof and were able to install a new one!

In the morning we went to the school to share some time with the children and we had a blast!
Today's lesson was about how Jesus called his first disciples and how they left their old life to follow him.

After a long day of ministry a members of the church took us to his father's farm so he could explaine us all about coffee, sugar cane, exotic fruits, and we saw animals like cows, chickens, pigs and turkeys.
We enjoyed learning how some people lives here in Costa Rica!

Rec Day

After a great trip we went to do ziplining to have fun and also spend quality time with the family!
We are so thankful with God because of His faithfulness and how He blessed us this week through wonderful people here in Costa Rica.
