Ebenezer Mennonite Church

We made it to Guatemala safely! It’s amazing to see how different it is. We are excited for this week and the things the Lord will do. Please continue praying for us while we serve and love the people in this country!

We are so happy to be here again!! Our friends received us with a delicious dinner and we had an amazing time sharing with everyone! 

Today, we were part of a Sunday school for kids where we got to dance to a few songs and learn about the prodigal son. We had a great time. 

We also started the construction project which entails digging to set up a water cistern. 

The task was tough, but we enjoy being able to help the local church. 

While some of our friends were busy digging, some of us went to a local supermarket to buy groceries to bless 25 families from Cerro Corado.

After unloading the bus and the car, we started to pack all the groceries and cleaning supplies for the families we are visiting in the following days. 

We had a blessed time with our brothers and sisters tonight at church, where we got to worship and praise the Lord as one.

We visited families from the community and shared the gospel with them as God has commanded us.

We had a great time with the kids on Monday because they were excited to see Jesus in the skit and they also had fun with it.

We had the opportunity to keep visiting our families and pray for them. It’s very special getting to know them more and learn more about their culture.

Today was our last day of ministry and delivered the last bags of groceries. We pray that these people continue to see God's provision. 

We had a great time on our last day of VBS although we were sad to say goodbye!

We received a little bit more than 100 kids per day! Our prayer is that the seed of God's word planted in the heart of our new friends can grow and produce fruit. 

We woke up early in the morning to start our journey riding ATVs to get to Pacaya Volcano, one of three active volcanoes in Guatemala.

We had so much fun.
