Fort Bend Christian Academy

We arrived in Memphis this afternoon! We had a fun day exploring the city and are excited to serve this week! 

We attended church at Monument of Love this morning. We enjoyed worshiping with the community and are excited to serve with this partner this week! 

After church, we explored downtown Memphis and learned about the Civil Rights movement. 

Brady and Trace celebrated their birthdays today! The team enjoyed an ice cream bar at lunch. 

We enjoyed helping the Dorthy Day House move furniture and school supplies to make room for more storage!

We served 230 hot meals today! Working at St. Vincent was a great experience, and we were excited to feed so many! 

Ryann did a great job handing out meals and greeting the guests. 

We sorted items at the Mid South Food Bank, and organized almost 2,000 pounds of food! 

Part of our team was able to serve at the FedEx Family House, and made cookies and cards for families with children in the hospital. We were thankful for this opportunity to brighten these families day!

We enjoyed sight seeing around Memphis on our last day here. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve this community this week! Bye, Memphis!
