Coastal Teens

Our staff this week are ready to receive the team! Heather and Arianna are looking forward to see how God uses everyone in ministry this week.

We have arrived in Puerto Rico! So grateful and exited to serve this community. We just went to Piñones to eat some pinchos and got to see the beautiful beach. Definitely enjoying our first few hours here. We are ready to serve! 

At Walmart we are buying school supply donations and VBS materials for the ministries this week! We pray the kids in the community are blessed by this.

This morning we are joining with Iglesia Bautista Cristo Restaura for Sunday service! We are blessed to be honoring all of the fathers joining us today, both from the States and Puerto Rico.

As we finish our time here with Pastora Wilmina and her church, we are taking time to pray over her and her congregation. May she have many more years here spreading the Gospel to the community of Levittown.

Tonight we are enjoying some fresh Nutella frosties at Wendy's! What a great start to our week as we try something we never have before!

This morning we are helping the Carolina community. It is a blessing to be able to serve these beautiful people. Throughout this week we will be coming to this center to serve, help, and collaborate. 

This is one of the areas where we will be working this week. We picked some fresh fruit (cherries, star fruit, and passion fruit) to try! They were so good and refreshing!!!

La Conde is a school that was shut down by the government a few years ago and is now being restored as a community center. We are working to improve the property little by little to help the school eventually reopen again.

Starting the day off with some scraping to repaint the fence in the future. We have been cutting the vines too, since they interlace with the fence! We have a good day ahead!

Today’s VBS was awesome! We started with a skit about sin and its effects on people. After, we talked about God’s love for us and how it grows. 

We enjoyed another sweet treat today, limbers! They are so refreshing after a long day.

Today we are continuing to make the land of La Conde even more beautiful. Some parts of the path have been overgrown, so we are exposing the concrete again.

Today we are finishing our work in La Conde. This morning we found a slab of cement that was covered by grass and dirt! In the future, Glenny will use the dirt for planting.

This afternoon we are exploring El Yunque! We are happily hiking and swimming in the river and underneath waterfalls.

In the afternoon we are eating traditional beach food in Luquillo! The sunset is also beautiful as we are enjoying the warm ocean water.

As we depart this beautiful island, we look back at all of the people we have met and all of the memories we have made. Instead of goodbye, we say see you later, Puerto Rico!
