Spalding 2021

The Spalding  Family arrived late Saturday afternoon after a long drive! They are so excited to get started on the work projects this week!

The team attended Sunday Morning Worship at our host church, Virgie Baptist Church. Pastor Thomas preached a wonderful sermon about sharing the mighty works of Christ with others. The team intends to do just that as they reach out to the community this week!

This morning the Spalding family went to visit Ms. Angie and began cleaning up her yard and tearing down an old porch in preparation for a new porch and steps in order to make her home safer for herself and her young son. 

This morning, the Spalding family decided to divide and conquer! Some of the family did yard clean up while some finished the first set of steps at Ms. Angie’s!

This afternoon, the Spalding family joined the rest of the PPM team at a home to pressure wash, pull up broken boards, and repair the porch and steps.

On this final day of ministry for the Spalding family, Andy, Jan, and Katie  continued working on Ms. Kim’s porch repairs while Ms. Rosemary visited with a local widow to provide encouragement.

After 3 and a half days of successful ministry, the Spalding family said goodbye to the rest of the team.
