Alto Impacto Youth

Josué and Sammy are our staff for the week. They're ready for this trip and to serve God alongside the team!

Josué y Sammy son el staff de esta semana. Estamos listos para este viaje misionero y para servir a Dios junto con el equipo!

Thank God we made it to Carbon on Saturday night after a whole day driving. Then we settled for that night!

Gracias a Dios llegamos a Carbón el Sábado en la noche después de manejar todo el dia. Después nos acomodamos para pasar ahí la noche. 

Even the Way to Alto Jabui is a great opportunity to share and teach about the gospel!

Hasta la caminata a Alto Jabui es una oportunidad para compartir y enseñar acerca del evangelio.

We made it!! Alto Jabui welcomed us with open arms and open hearts! It's amazing how God has built this relationship in so much a beautiful and strong way!

Lo logramos! Alto Jabui nos recibió con brazos y corazones abiertos!  Es increíble cómo Dios ha construido esta relación de una manera tan hermosa y fuerte!

Also, when we were at Carbon, we went to the grocery store to get all the supplies we needed for food distribution!

Además, cuando estaba en Carbón también fui al supermercado para conseguir todo lo que necesitábamos para distribución de alimentos!

When we feel physically defeated, our spirit is strong because we pray for each other and take care of those we love!

Cuando nos sentimos físicamente destruidos, nuestro espíritu se fortalece cuando oramos unos por otros y cuidamos a los que amamos. 

We're joyful for being able to come here to serve this community.

Estamos gozosos de poder venir acá y servir a esta comunidad. 

After getting the bags ready to be delivered, we prayed over them and the families that are going to receive this blessing for God. 

Después de alistar las bolsas para que fueran entregadas, oramos por ellas y las familias que van a recibir esta bendición del Señor. 

We went to the mountain to serve and start food distribution right after praying over the bags. We love  listening to them and praying for them as well.

Nos fuimos. A la montaña a servir con distribución de alimentos tan pronto como terminamos se preparar las bolsas. Amamos escucharlos y orar por ellos también. 

We started the first project by putting up the posts for the sheep pen and leveling the floor.

Empezamos el primer project sembrando los postes del corral de las ovejas y nivelando el suelo.

We find joy in serving and working for God's Kingdom. The willingness and good attitude of this group definitely show the fruit of the Spirit on them. 

Encontramos gozo en servir y trabajar para el Reino de Dios! La disposición y buena actitud de este grupo definitivamente muestras los frutos del espíritu en ellos.

We spent the whole afternoon playing with the kids and sharing with them about Jesus. It's a blessing to know they begin to trust and bond with us.

Pasamos toda la tarde jugando con los niños y compartiendo con ellos acerca de Jesús. Es una bendición saber que ellos empiezan a confiar en nosotros y a crear relaciones. 

Part of coming to serve is to be intentional even in the small things such as cleaning the property with the kids! We're called to set an example for others by respecting God's creation!

Parte de servir es ser intencional aún en las pequeñas cosas como limpiar la propiedad con los niños! Estamos llamados a ser ejemplo para otros hacia la creación de Dios!

This is the goal. This is ministry. This is Kingdom.

Esta es la meta. Esto es ministerio. Esto es el Reino. 

The ladies talked about Joshua 1:9 and how brave these women are!

Las damas hablaron acerca de Josué 1:9 y cuán breves son estas mujeres!

For the second day of ministry, we went even deeper in the mountain to the town Pastor Amado comes from.

Para el segundo día de ministerio, fuimos aún más profundo en la montaña al pueblo de donde viene el Pastor Amado.

We went to Volcancito and taught the kids about basic *but important* christian values through games and songs!

Fuimos a Volcancito y les enseñamos a los niños acerca de algunos valores cristianos básicos pero importantes por medio de juegos y canciones!

Part of the ministries we brought to Volcancito was the feeding program. Thank God we were able to feed everyone there and share Jesus' love with them. 

Parte de los ministerios que trajimos a Volcancito fue el comedor infantil. Gracias a Dios pudimos alimentar a todos y compartir el amor se Jesús con ellos. 

After a whole second day of ministry up at Volcancito, we came down satisfied and happy knowing that God was glorified in that place!

Después de todo un día lleno de ministerio en Volcancito, bajamos satisfechos y felices de saber que Dios fue glorificado en ese lugar!

A blessed Pastor is a healthy pastor.

Un pastor bendecido es un pastor saludable. 

Part of this partnership is to share a common vision among both churches so Pastors' ministries and strengths are fresh and renewed.

God moved these sisters' hearts and they raised a beautiful song for Him during women's ministry.
