Carolina Pelicans

We made it! We arrived safely in this beautiful country and are so eager to see what God has for us this week. 

Katherine, Jeric and Ishi, from the left to the right, will be with us during these days serving the Lord. Later in the week we will have Kimberly, Karina, Zoe and Nicole.

We made it to the church and we are so excited! Since Costarican people are celebrating Independence Day, they received us wearing some costumes and with all these amazing decorations. 

Yesterday we finished our first day in CR having our orientation meeting and getting ready for Sunday. 

Since we had some issues with the community being flooded from the rain, we had our service in the evening. We had a good time sharing with the locals and pastor Daniel preached about the gifts God has put in our lives to honor Him, Matthew 24:14-30. 

Today we were checking about 70 people in the church. We were super happy to help them and to pray over them.

Today part of the team was working on a construction in pastor Daniel’s house. We were digging holes, putting in concrete posts and some concrete panels for the fence. 

Yesterday we were still attending to people and for us, the most important thing, besides the medicine or a diagnosis, is to pray for the people we are checking. We know that is not easy, but by praying we are reaffirming that God's in control no matter what.

This morning we were visiting a school and we had the opportunity to share about Jonah. We did some crafts, we were coloring, making animals and we had a good time. We can’t wait for tomorrow to go back. 

Yesterday’s morning we talked about Peter walking on the waters and how important is to trust in God, we made some crafts and had fun playing with the kids.
