Praying for the Pastor

by Gabriel Cortes | June 30, 2024 9:44 PM

This afternoon we had the opportunity to hear about the life of Pastor Adolfo, how he knew God when he was a child and how God called him to serve as a pastor more than 30 years ago. Today we pray that God will continue to strengthen him during the ministry and that he will continue to be the support of the church.

Food Distribution Day 1

by Jeric Montealto | July 2, 2024 12:13 AM

Today we started delivering groceries. It was amazing to visit different homes where we were last year and being updated with prayer requests answered. We also gave them some prayer shawls hand made by the women of our church and we let them know that’s a reminder of people always praying over them.

Women’s Ministry Day 1

by Gabriel Cortes | July 2, 2024 8:08 AM

The first day of ministry with women, it was a wonderful time where we had the opportunity to share the stories of each one and be able to encourage ourselves to remain firm in the faith and know that God will always be with us

VBS Day 1

by Gabriel Cortes | July 2, 2024 8:14 AM

On our first day of VBS, we learned about how God loves us even when it is difficult to obey our parents, but God and our parents are so loving, that they love us very much. This teaching was told by our friends the puppets. The children really enjoyed this teaching. We are excited to see what God has in the next few days.

FD Day 2

by Jeric Montealto | July 2, 2024 12:39 PM

Good things are still happening! Today during FD we met Mary. It was so cool to know her. She was so happy with the visit, grateful for the food and amazed with the beautiful prayer shawl (she wore it immediately) and she taught us that we need to keep seeking God no matter what.

Construction Day 2

by Jeric Montealto | July 3, 2024 12:14 AM

Alright! We kept working on the foundation of the storage room, even when it was raining we were continuing with our goal. We laughed a lot and shared with our brothers while working.

VBS Day 2

by Gabriel Cortes | July 3, 2024 12:26 AM

On our second day of VBS, we read in Mark 4: 35-41, about how Jesus had peace in the middle of the storm. Even when his disciples were afraid, Jesus called to calm the storm. And that is something we must do in our lives. Even when we go through difficult storm times, God gives us the peace we need to be able to move forward.

Women’s Ministry Day 2

by Gabriel Cortes | July 3, 2024 12:35 AM

Today one of our group shared a little of her story with the women, how she composed a song and at the same time, she was given the opportunity for her to sing the song in front of the women. It was a beautiful moment to be able to share one more day of God's love among women.
