After a day of traveling we finally arrived in Nicaragua safe and sound. We are so happy to be able to meet with our brothers here and serve together. We are so excited to see all that God will be doing during this week!

We arrived at the CMI church and it was very nice to feel the love of God through our brothers here. They prepared a warm welcome for us and we also prayed together for all the plans we have for this week and for the gospel to be proclaimed.

Tonight we had the opportunity to gather at Batahola for the youth service. During the service 3 members of the group shared their testimonies of how God and His faithfulness has been good in their lives. The congregation was motivated to not let the Light of Jesus go out in their lives but rather to let the Holy Spirit shine so that everyone can see Jesus through them.

"Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven"
Matthew 5: 15-16

Today, our mission team came together to prepare provision bags for the families in our community, working with dedication and unity to pack essential items, including food and daily necessities. This effort is more than just providing material support; it is a heartfelt way to show these families that they are valued and loved by our local church community. Each bag represents a gesture of compassion, reminding these families that they are not alone and that they mean a great deal to us. We hope that through these acts of kindness, they feel the love and care of the church, reflecting the grace and generosity that God has shown to us all.

Our family at The Vine prays for the food that will be distributed to these families, hoping it serves as a channel of blessing and a reminder of how important they are to our community and local church. We trust that this moment becomes an opportunity to demonstrate Christ's love and care, making each person feel valued and embraced by His grace.

Today, we had the blessing of visiting a couple families, bringing a little love, sharing God's Word, and getting to know the local church better. It was a special time to pray for them and see how God touches their lives. What a privilege to be His hands and feet in this community!

We had the opportunity to distribute food and walked about 20 minutes to reach Jeremy's house. It was a beautiful reminder of God's love as we prayed for him and his entire family, who all live on the same land. We blessed each one of them, recognizing our team's hard work and their dedication to serving others. It was truly inspiring to see their commitment and love for God in action.

There is no better way to learn than learning with friends. This morning we had the opportunity to share time with the students of the free English course that the local church offers to the community.

Today, the team had the incredible opportunity to spend the afternoon with the kids and teenagers in the after-school program, one of the few places where they can go once their regular school day is over. This program helps reinforce common school subjects, providing much-needed support to the students. Our team was able to play games with them, pray together, share some snacks, and even give them toys. It was such a blessing and a great time that God allowed us to experience. We are grateful for the chance to connect with these young lives and show them His love in a tangible way.

During the after-school program, we had the opportunity to interact with and get to know the children better through creative activities. This time, we made balloon figures and bracelets, giving the kids a fun way to express their creativity. It was a joy to see their excitement and happiness as they crafted their own creations, and the atmosphere was filled with smiles and laughter. Moments like these not only strengthen their skills but also help build meaningful connections with them.

Our friend Livia delivered a powerful and entertaining message to the children, capturing their hearts with both joy and spiritual truth. Her dynamic energy made the teachings of Jesus come alive, reminding the kids that they are deeply valued in God's kingdom. It was an inspiring day filled with love, connection, and the reminder of the impact we can have on the next generation.

Today, our brothers and sisters from The Vine took 40 kids from our community to a water park, where we had an amazing time together. The children enjoyed playing on the slides and splashing in the water, and it was a joy to see their faces light up with excitement. We also made sure to treat them to ice cream, adding to the day's fun. It was such a blessing to spend this quality time with them, and we truly felt God's goodness in every moment.

After an afternoon full of fun with the children, it was time to connect with our local church through their family groups. Having the local church so close makes us feel at home. We appreciate the trust of opening your homes and worshiping together as one body to our heavenly father.

At night we had a special meeting with part of the congregation who took the time to say goodbye. After a night full of dances and words of motivation, we can say that this is not goodbye, but see you later.
