Itasca Youth for Christ

Pastor Rafael welcomed us to Calderas. We're ready to start serving in this community.

We started the day packing food bags for the families.  We will be visiting 25 families this week. Please, join us in praying for them.

We had a great time preparing everything for tomorrow! We are ready for the week ahead and super excited to work with the kids.

Thanks to God we had our first church service filled with worship. 

This morning we started delivering some of the 25 bags we packed. It is an amazing time to hear from the community families. 

We continued with food distribution. We thank these families for welcoming us into their homes. We bless them in the name of Jesus.

Today, a family gifted us these delicious avocados to thank us for the visit.

Some are painting, some are playing soccer, baseball or Frisbee, but everybody is having a good time! 

Tonight we had a bonfire where we got to share with the people from the community and eat some hot dogs. 

We’re grateful to God for the opportunity to share His love and rejoice with these beautiful people from Calderas. 

Everything is better with friends!

We are working hard to prepare the new doors for the church building. We worked together as a team.

“One of the biggest experiences we’ve had”…

The connection we get to build with the community and their children was impactful. We treasure the moments shared with them, all the love we received and the smiles.

We are on our way back home. We can't wait to share with you what we've experienced on this trip, and what the Lord has done in and through us.
