Harbor Light Community Chapel

We are so excited to be in Turkiye (and not on a plane for 9 hours!) After we got settled we headed out for dinner and got kabob and lamuchun. Everything was amazing! 

We can't wait to see what God has in store!

Today pastor Cem showed us around and then we got to see his church and pray of him. We also anointed his building and the power of the Holy Spirit was heavy as we prayed and worshipped. Please pray for Pastor Cem as he stands as a light in Istanbul.

What a powerful time of prayer and anointing! Pastor Redwan brought oil from Israel, and we used it to anoint Pastor cem, his wife and his church. It was powerful and the presence of God was heavy on us. Pastor Cem is a bearer of hope in this city. Please pray for him and his family as they serve in a predominantly Muslim area.

We had a chance to tour the Bosphorus! 

We had such a powerful time of prayer over pastors Hatice and Cuneyt. They have an amazing ministry of partnering with the BCC, Bible correspondence course. Please pray for them as they serve their city. 

This morning at Holy Life pastor Aimee shared the word, from Daniel 3. A good word on standing firm even in the furnace.

We have arrived in Greece!

While we were sad to day goodbye to Turkiye and the amazing pastors we met there, we are excited to see what Greece will show us.

We will continue to prayer for Pastor Cem, Pastors Cuneyt and Hatice, and Pastor Daniel and their congregations. We are so thankful for the hard work they are doing to show the hope of Jesus, which is so badly needed in their country. We learned so much and we are expectant about what God is doing and will do across Turkiye!

Time to explore some ancient ruins!

One of our partners in Greece, Helenic Ministries, welcomed us with open arms! We got to learn about some of their Ministries and we got to serve at their Axia 113 compassion ministry. Paul preached here! There is a stone with 2 Corinthians 5:4-7 that marks the spot at the Bema where Paul was at. How incredible that we get to be in such an important site to the Christian faith! 

We had an amazing 10 days walking the footsteps of Paul and visiting with Pastors and Ministries. How beautiful and encouraging to see where the Gospel started to spread across the world, and what a beautiful privilege that we got to love on our pastors and Ministries. We will continue to pray for them, and we ask that you will too. They are the ones on the front lines in Istanbul, Turkiye, Athens, and Greece. They are changing the world. They are sharing the hope and love of Jesus in their regions, and in some difficult places. They have blessed us and we are so thankful for our time here!
