”For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being.“
Ephesians 3 14-16

We take a moment to pray for each bag, but not only for the bag but for the families that will receive it.
We believe that God will do great things and will bless every family we will have the opportunity to meet.

Isaac spoke to the youth about how their value in Christ is determined by what Jesus did for them on the cross. Also, we had a few games which helped connect with them.

We started the ministry of food distribution and we had the huge blessing of knowing some families. We heard a lot of powerful testimonies and saw how big their faith was even in difficult situations.
We are going to continue praying for their lives and also for their prayer requests.

We started today by putting down ceramic tiles in the church building. We are continuing the work that was started by groups before us! It’s really cool to see the fruit of many visits.

It’s special to work hand in hand with the church men that are putting down tiles. Even though there is a language barrier, we can communicate in small ways and help them out. They encourage us and make us want to give our best and it’s so fun! ~Alyssa

Today we had the opportunity to visit 8 families. It is a great blessing for us to be able to hear them and to know them better.
It is beautiful to see how we can all pray together in unity, no matter the language barrier.

We had a devotional today where we talked to the women about God's love and how we might freely receive it. Along with making bracelets together, we also took a moment to share some stories.

We went to eat ice cream, had some free time to enjoy something sweet, and talked about our day.

Today we shared our afternoon with the women of the community. It was a very special time in which we made bracelets, painted our nails and sang together.
We also had a devotional and we remember that God loves us and we must put our trust in Him and not believe the things others say about us.

We have had beautiful days meeting the women of the community, and it has been amazing to hear some of their testimonies.
After enjoying the afternoon, we took this photo all together, and it is only to say that we are already family!

Today was our last day of food distribution. Once more it was a blessing to share time with the families that we visited. We walk away with so much to thank God for and a heart for the people in the community.

We had an amazing time at Tamarindo beach, unwinding and enjoying the waves and sun.

We started has strangers but tonight we have a family, hoping and praying that God will allow us to see each other again. The see you laters were bittersweet, sweet because it was beautiful how God was in the midst of these new friendships. Pastor José gave an amazing message of how companionship should be like a cord of three strands, it is not easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
