Wildewood Christian Church

This morning we went into the city of Elkhorn and cleaned up in the local park!

It was so amazing to clean up an area that is used in this community so they can enjoy it to it’s fullest!

After cleaning up the park we took a much needed break and goofed off a little on the monkey bars!

You’re never too old to play!

This afternoon we went to Guiding Light Community Church and helped out with some food distribution!

We filled 120 boxes with so many goodies for the community! It was such a blessing to be a part of this amazing thing that this church does!

You can definitely see God moving in this church!

To end the day we went to the new location that Guiding Light Community Church is moving to!

We helped move some stuff from the old church to this one!

After we were all done the Pastor wanted to pray for all of us! It was such a blessing to help him and his family in any way we could. 

Day two! 

This morning we worked at SmileFaith Appalachia in Jenkins. Our cleanup crew worked very hard organizing piles of treated wood and cinder blocks!

SmileFaith provides charitable dental care and community resources. We organized the space where they will hold their farmers markets and raised garden beds.

It will be an amazing space for the community to use!  So excited to plant a seed where the rest of the community will grow it.

Day three! 

Today we distributed food at a local church in Elkhorn city! 

It was such a privilege to be a laborer in this communities harvest! 

Day 4!

We went to Breaks Interstate Park and hiked their geological trail. It was incredible spending time in God’s creation!

Also at Breaks Interstate Park we went paddle boating! So many laughs and unforgettable memories were made!

The joy of the Lord was very present today!
