Center Point Church

We are here at the airport ready and waiting for our extended family from Prince Edward Island. Maria and I are so excited to once again be able to serve with our friends and alongside pastor Julian Matthews and are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for us. 

It's wonderful to be reunited with our friends again. What started in 2019 is still going strong today. As we saw our friends we were overjoyed with excitement to not only see our friends again but eager to be a witness of what God is going to do and how he's going to move this week. 

We were blessed to attend service this morning with Pastor Julian at his church. We got to see so many of our friends again. We worshiped, prayed together and Pastor Shawn preached on being a messenger of God. 

After church service we had a delicious lunch. We spent time together with pastor Julian and some others from his church. Afterward, we visited the plaza. We were able to share the love of Jesus with the community. We met a man who was in need and we were able to bless him with some groceries and prayer. 

No matter the place, no matter the time, we are always ready to go and talk to people about God. Tonight we went with Pastor Julian to a mall close by in Mayaguez and we spoke to people about God at the movie theater. God has no limits and, spoiler alert, He won.

Today we are at the University of Mayaguez having conversations with the students at the University.

 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Pastor Shawn, Zach and Bryan are at Pastor Billy's house and they are praying for his health. Pastor Billy is the associate pastor of the church. We went over to pick up a guitar for him for an outreach we will be doing at Plaza Colón. 

We went to speak to university students, getting to know their interests. Prayer was welcome.  One student accepted the Lord.

We visited an elderly home.  We connected with them in conversations, letting them know where we live. We shared stories together. 

Today we are back at the University of Mayaguez evangelizing and spreading the love of God. We are also inviting students for a worship gathering at 6:30 pm at the campus tonight. We have had many great conversations that have led to prayer and preaching about God. 

Tonight we get to worship with the youth. Same youth we were ministering to an evangelizing at the University of Maya West many people came touched by God's call. This University is struggling with an agenda that is trying to suppress Christianity and we are rejoice to worship alongside youth that are not backing down against the armies of darkness but are shining their light in Christ.

Today we have our Rec day. We are going to the waterfall today but before we do that, we took time to pray and give our day to God. 

We are here at the waterfall enjoying God's beautiful creation. We took time to also worship God and we even talk to people about God.

On our recreational activities we had time for shopping and we were able to pray over this merchant.

As we get ready to finalize our mission trip,  we prayed over Pastor Julian for his ministry.  Shared moments from the team.

As we got ready to depart Pastor Israel and Clary as well the cooks.  Gifts exchanged with a prayer. 

As our final stop we prayed for and over Pastor David's church before heading to Old San Juan. Then to the airport. 

As we get to enjoy of God's creations in Puerto Rico. 

We are sad to see our friends leave but we know we built a bridge through the gift of love. Thank you to our Canadian friends for all the love you have given us. We are excited to see all that God will do in P.E.I. See you guys next year. Can't wait.
