Faith Fellowship

We are loaded to say the least, and ready to pick up the team.  Can't wait to serve alongside this amazing team from Faith Fellowship.  We haven't seen them in 3 years and we couldn't be more excited for their arrival.  

We are at the camp site where we will be spending our nights at and the views are great. We got to celebrate Christina and Pastor Tom’s birthdays so it was well spent time together.

The team got settled in this evening after we arrived at Nutshell Conference Center our home for the week.  

After an early departure this morning and a long travel day they were hungry and ready to eat.  The cooks made a fantastic meal of fried chicken, rice and peas, brown stew pork and salad.  

The team hit the ground running after dinner and began preparing for the classrooms In which they will serve this week.  They have a week full of teaching the children about the fruits of the spirit. 

We cannot wait to see how God uses them to speak into the lives of the children.

There is something so special when you see a husband and wife worshipping together.  Ronnie and Grace are a true example of a couple that love and serve the Lord together as a married couple. 

We took a drive to two different communities to drop off care packages to shut in members of the church and got to pray over them and their families. It was such a blessing to see how grateful they were, not only for the packages, but just to be able to have someone to talk to and pray over them since they didn’t make it to church today. It was great that we could bring the church to them. It was a great day to minister. 

This is today  that  the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness  and self-control  was reminded  to us by the team during the devotion exercise with students. So as we go through  this week, we'll use these words to continue  being God's hands and feet.

These gentlemen have been crazy helpful in getting things prepared for the classrooms.  Today they were the fruit loop crew.  The children will be making fruit loop bracelets as they are chatting about the fruits of the spirits.  

Tom and the principal took to the toys for a little race. I wont say who won but it wasn't our leader lol. They had way too much fun and used them before the kids had a chance.

The team passed out a little snack this morning, a bag of fruit loops! Who doesn't love fruit loops! I enjoyed them, I can say that, but the kids did also.
