Calvary Chapel Lake City

Today we worked with a nonprofit organization called Union Mission! We had a blast working in their thrift store organizing all the clothes donated here! This is a way that Union Mission gets support for all the things they do in the community.

They work in men’s and women’s recoveries, help feed the community and bring such an important factor in today’s world: loving God and loving people. 

I’m so glad we got to work along side this place and help in any way we could!

So much goes into sorting and organizing clothes!

Union Mission is opening up a distribution center in downtown Charleston and we got to work and organize clothes so it can be brought through to their thrift store down the road!

They have so many blessing brought into this place and what a treat to get to witness this blessing and hard work put into it!

Day 2!

After doing our morning shift at Union Mission  Thrift, we headed to Haddad Riverfront Park to minister to the community! We provided care packages to the needy and prayed over so many incredible people!

We ran into a family that needed assistance and prayer. We escorted this wonderful woman to the courthouse. She didn’t know how to access the handicap entrance.

 What a blessing to be in the right place at the right time!

Day 3!

We started bright and early working at the PPM Dock. The landscape got a makeover, we pulled up the weeds, mulched the garden, and trimmed the trees! 

The Lord gave us sweet weather and cheerful spirits while working outside! 

The amazing Church down the street was kind enough to invite us to their bible study! We met so many incredible believers that poured into us and we were able to do the same!

What a blessing to be able to lay hands on their pastor and to speak life over him and his ministry! 

Day 4!

Our last day was spent at Union Mission! We made room for new items and organized the aisles. 

It was a fun and productive day! The Lord was evident in all the things we accomplished!

Back at the Dock! 

Step 3 completed, painting the ramp! The weather was even better today and we sang praises to God! 

It’s an honor to serve this community and the Lord all in one!
