Central Florida Christian Academy (CFCA)

The team arrived with big smiles tonight! We are so happy they are here.  It’s going to be a great week!

After worshiping this morning we went to an ocean front park nearby. God’s creation is so beautiful!

The team spent the entire morning doing a variety of projects around the property today. Not a single complaint!  This is an awesome group of young women!🎉

This morning the team traveled 30 minutes south to join Miss Rhonda and a group of about 40 others who were doing a roadside cleanup. We were in charge of a half mile section of the road. It was absolutely amazing how much trash was along the side of the road. It made such a difference. Miss Rhonda , pictured in the green shirt is a behind the scenes hero, making the world a much better place. The girls did an amazing job. 

This morning, the CFCA leaders wanted to make a special breakfast for the teams. They bought eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links, and bacon in preparation for their feast. They prepped all the food, only to find out that yesterday all power to the church kitchen was shut down due to the construction going on in the new sanctuary. Lots of problem-solving followed, but eventually they persevered, and provided us with an amazing breakfast. God is so good. A big thanks to the amazing CFCA teachers!

  This team cleans up mighty fine after working hard all day. We had a pizza party celebration for dinner complete with Keylime pie! And then off to church they went. We all thanked God for a great day!  

 Today we will end our week of serving by preparing and then distributing food for nearly 400 families in the area. What an honor it is to serve and help those that are in need. 

These boxes were all full of mashed potatoes to give away.  

Today we all head back to our homes. What a week it has been. God has been so good. Two separate teams from two separate states joining together to serve the Lord. God is so good. We already miss them.
